HAMTRAMCK - Residents and civil rights advocates are appalled that Asm Kamal Rahman, a leading voice in the successful ballot initiative to overturn a local anti-discrimination ordinance last year, is now sitting on the boards of civil rights groups in southeast Michigan.

I’ve been arguing with libs for years, telling them you might feel at one with this or that group...but does said group feel at one with you?

Both Left and Right are often guilty of this simplified assumption, that is, the person who shares your ideals on one issue would also share your ideals on other issues.

For 'anti-discrimination' read 'government-sanctioned discrimination'.
