Question I asked on another thread: must these czars pass a security check? What kind of vetting are they subject to?
Suppose they go through the standard FBI background check, what then? Does the report just go to the powers-that-be in the White House? At what point, with what evidence, would they be disqualified?
In other words, suppose the FBI turned up all the dirt were not seeing on Van Jones, reported it to Obamas people, and they just said OK and hired him anyway.
Is this plausible? Is there any automatic disqualification for high government jobs?
I just wonder if the drug screening was ever reinstated after Clinton did away with them.
I think making them “czars” rather than cabinet members is a way of evading all of it, congressional hearings, FBI background checks, all of it.
Since they are not subject to Senate vetting, who is to say they cannot be hired?
0bama didn't hire Jones "in spite" of his background, 0bama hired Jones "because" of his background.
My son was a Marine guard at the White House several years ago. The FBI interviewed everyone who ever knew him, including a disgruntled former girlfriend who accused him of being a racist. That alone, almost disqualified him.

According to Glenn Beck, they have not — either by the CIA or the FBI. Now the are being vetted by the WhiteHouse.
As Beck says, “We are living in dangerous times.”
Good Q. Hopefully some blogger or FOX will dig it out. CreamPuff News can't think of any questions beyond "what's on the menu?"
The fix was already in place to clear THAT entrance!!
Including the SCOTUS' members are being silenced!!!
