Green jobs 'czar' signed 'truther' statement in 2004 By Amanda Carpenter
President Obama’s “green jobs czar” Van Jones has been targeted again and again by conservatives for his controversial views and now they’ll have another item to use as fodder.
Mr. Jones signed a statement for 911Truth.org in 2004 demanding an investigation into what the Bush Administration may have done that “deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war.”
His name is listed with 99 other prominent signatories supporting such an investigation on the 911Truth.org website, including Code Pink co-founders Medea Benjamin and Jodi Evans, comedienne Janeane Garofalo, Democratic Rep. Cynthia McKinney of Georgia and others. He's identified as the executive director for the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights on the statement, which he founded before going to the White House. 9/11Truth.org spokesman Mike Berger told the Washington Times over the phone that all of the signers had been verified by their group. He said 9/11Truth.org board members “spoke with each person on the list by phone or through email or individually confirm they hae added their name to that list.”
“I think in most cases they spoke to them personally,” he added. “No one’s name was put on that list without them knowing it.”

Lol! Obama has to be feeling heat to get rid of Jones, but whether he does or not the fact he was hired in the first place hurts Obama.
If Van Jones is REALLY sorry, he’ll step down from his post, and not make President Elected Obama force him to leave, to shore up confidence and character to show some of us, we don’t believe in the sincerity of this administration. ..neither his lapdogs the Congress and Senate
Have any Republican senators spoke out against these “Czars” or Jones in particular? If the shoe was on the other foot the Dems and the media would be frantic!

Wait until we get onto Rosa Brooks, at Defense...she makes this guy look like RR...
“Obama State Department appointee Rosa Brooks has likewise excused Hamas, writing in the L.A. Apparently not...but then we can't even get the Geldings in the Republican party to look into Hussein's Birth Certificate...heck, Michelle Malkin has more “balls” than any of the “R's” in Congress!
At this point, it is obvious that these clowns were hired with NO background check whatsoever.
Maybe some RATS in Congress think this is fine, but I bet more are pretty shocked.
I cannot imagine even most union dems approve of this guy.
Obama has egg on his face, and it only gets worse by the day with all of his denials.
Obama loves their backgrounds, just as he loved Wright's and Ayers' backgrounds. Public outrage may cause him to throw them under the bus too but Obama will dredge up more of the same. They are simply his kind of people.
Jones is a clown. Everyone can see. It is like Rev. Wright as a government oficial.
