Karl Rove on Hannity Last Night

Posted on 09/03/2009 5:51:03 AM PDT by fujimoh

Karl Rove was on Hannity last night and he did his bit "By the Numbers" and I found it very telling to see that Obama has had a press conference 50% of his days in office.

If anyone has a link to these numbers, I would appreciate it, and Thanks!

Sorry, didn’t see it, but this is important and telling, because many have argued already that Zero is overexposed, and it appears-—APPEARS-—that his public appearances are no longer generating any support at all polling-wise, but actually hurting. He is so narcissistic, however, he can’t STFU and therefore I hope we can count on him to drive his own numbers down, Paris Hilton style.

I saw it but don’t have the numbers handy. He said he had an op-ed piece coming out in the WSJ today so maybe they might be in there.

Is that all? I would’ve thought it was more like 90%

If the GOP is smart, they will watch for a decrease in public speaking by Obama -- and then Republicans can start shouting "He's hiding! He's hiding!"

Obama needs to be out in front, babbling to the public every damn day. That's what Obama wants. And it's what we should want too.

I missed Rove last night. He is great, I’d vote for him if he would run for any office.

Rove is wasting his time at the moment. Revolutionary ideologues don’t concern themselves with polls when they are in power.

They are replaying the clip from Hannity right now. I paused my Dish DVR and looks like he has been in office 242 days and has given 111 press conferences/speeches/townhalls.

Then 40 days the address to Congress AFTER the deadline he set and 67% of Americans don’t understand the details of his plan still.

Reached 50% approval on 8/26 faster than everybody but Ford (because of Nixon pardon) who did it in 3 months and Clinton (because of gays in military) in 4 months.

Approval rate of Congress 37% lowest in 24 years, can’t believe it is even that high . . .

Next year generic ballot 45/44 Dem Repub

Leading by 10 in New Jersey and 9 in Virginia for Gov.

and Megyn says there will be a quiz later. LOL

Rove’s “dry-mark-chalk-talk” was replayed just now on FNC. You may be able to find a replay on their website.

Rove is a legend in his own mind. He squandered away Rep control of Congress with his support of big spending on prescription drugs and education in a failed effort to co-opt Dem issues. And his support of amnesty [aka comprehensive immigration reform] deeply divided the Rep party. Rove was a disaster.

242 (days in office)

111 (pressers/town halls/speeches on deathcare)

40 (giving next speech 40 days after deadline he set for Congreess)

67 (% of Americans who are confused by everything he's saying!)

53 (job app today) vs. 50 on 8/26 meaning he's reached 50% mark faster than any pres except for Truman

3-38 (Ford got to 38% in 3 months for Nixon) 4-41 (Bubba got there in 4 months for gays in mil)

40-47 (app/disapp on handling of deathcare)

36-46 40-45 (app/disapp of Congress plan)

37-24 (Congress app/disapp numbers lowest in 24 yrs) 45/44 (generic ballot Dem/Repub for next election--big change in Congress!)

10 (Repubs lead in NJ)

9 (Repubs lead in VA)

Karl--He's facing a very bad situation!!!

Obama is overexposed. If the Beatles were still together they’d be overexposed. The only person who can’t be overexposed is Carrie Prejean. In fact the more exposed the better.

No, he didn’t have a press conference the last two weeks during his vacation. That brings down the average.
