"We're seeing the beginning of a peaceful and I emphasize peaceful revolt in America."
Thus spoke Senator John McCain at a townhall meeting in Arizona this past week.
Two days later before his constituents in Chickasha, Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe declared, "We're almost reaching a revolution in this country. People are not buying these concepts that are completely foreign to America."
The centerpiece of both townhalls, as throughout the nation, was the socialized medicine schemes embodied in bills before Congress and backed to the hilt by the White House. One man at the McCain meeting shouted out, "No more compromise. We're losing our country."
America protests
Successful politicians have a good sense of the mood of their constituents, and right now, they know there is uneasiness across the land. Gradually, Americans perceive that the proverbial "powers that be" are preparing to go beyond the "political correctness" that presumed to instruct them on what they can wear, what they can eat, what they can drive, what kind of washing machine they can have, what kind of controls are mandated for their showers, and most pointedly what they can say. And it is well to remember that any time you have to be soooo careful about what you say, the society in which you live is at the very least flirting with a police state.

So get outta the way, McSuckuptodems.
If McCain thinks he is going to be able to jump on the band-wagon, he had better think again.
My thoughts exactly.
I sent a letter to Sen inhofe thanking him for standing up to all this BS

Here are the "Love Birds" showing off at Teddy's service. They have absolutely no shame.
Here is one of the Pelousy Twins:
Here is the other one:
Here's the principal alternative and future POTUS, I hope.
Bump.
I was looking for the right description of life under Obama. ‘Police state’. That’s it. Goodbye individual liberty, hello communism with Nazi overtones. Juan Williams was defending Obama on Hannity/Fox last night. On one hand the White House is responsible for good things O promises, but if the czars he’s appointed suddenly issue Nazi-style demands no one in his right mind would support, Obama’s not to blame. So everything’s okay, folks. Go back to sleep.
If 1st amendment inoperative, use 2nd.

Other than perhaps getting an earful what the hell does he know about any of it? HE is part and parcel of the reasons for the "revolution". Wonder if he knows that or for that matter if any of the GOP knows that?
(When I started Catechism as a lad, which was many moon ago, Sister Superior explained that all 'Michaels' are named after St Michael the Archangel. Kinda makes a little kid feel pretty good)
Now we're ready for a housecleaning.
It’s true that if McCain hadn’t been such a lousy, conciliatory candidate, we probably wouldn’t have to worry about having Barry the Budding Dictator in office today.
However, anybody who is beginning to see the light should be encouraged and welcomed, including McCain. Don’t forget that he is still in Washington and while he has been a weak link in the past, if he is changing his mind now, this will be a positive for our side.
