He needs to run as an Independent and the Republicans should stay out of the way. There are Democrats who will vote for an Independent over a Republican (sorry).
I live up here, and I think he has a good chance.
He is outspoken, doesn’t mince words much, so he won’t be intimidated.
He is Curt Schilling. Even some lefties will grudgingly cut him about a quarter of an inch of slack, but that is about it.
But without Kennedy IN the seat, I think it could be won. Just my opinion, and I admit to being on shaky ground making political predictions. After all, I never thought in a million years this country would elect someone like Barack Obama.
But look at us now.
I think Curt Schilling would work wicked hard for the people of Massachusetts. :)

This lifelong Yankee fan says GO FOR IT, CURT!
I’m from MA... he might actually have a shot at this.
if romney could give teddy a run for his life, I’m sure schilling has a chance
I think he could pull it off!!!
Sounds good to me. If he runs as an Independent, he might prove to be more conservative than the typical RINOs who have won in Massachusetts.

BASEBALL PING LIST
If you would like to be on the ping list let me know.
This will be a medium volume ping list during the baseball season and a low volume ping list when all life stops in late October.
Shilling would be great. I live in Phoenix but I have done long-term consulting projects in Boston. Massachusetts could use a real winner as a senator for a change.
