President Barack Obama's plans for a televised back-to-school address to students next week are drawing fire from some conservatives, who say he's just trying to indoctrinate them to his political beliefs.
In the Sept. 8 speech, Obama will challenge students to work hard, set goals for their education and take responsibility for their learning, Education Secretary Arne Duncan said in a letter to principals.
The Education Department is encouraging teachers to create lesson plans around the speech, using materials provided on the department website, that urge students to learn about Obama and other presidents.

The list, ping
I’m hoping my kids’ school doesn’t show it. It’s a private Christian school, so we’ll see.

Stealth Indoctrination
Yhe kids in this family will be told everything they need to know about Obama, he doesn’t need to worry about that!
President Wee Wee needs an audience that understands him on his level. And somebody has warn the little crum-crunchers that the doctors are gonna yank out their tonsils just to make money.
I knew we would be portrayed as hysterics. I knew that they (MSM and whitehouse) would only come out with an ‘innocent’ explanation AFTER we objected so we can be portrayed as pointlessly contrary. But this is the fruit of the ‘great orator’ who has disappointed and shocked us so much that we WILL FEAR any action he attempts for good reason.
The teachers will be there, but I won't be watching.
No doubt the NEA workforce will carry this out with perfect evenhandedness. I'm sure the kids will hear a lot about "other presidents".
He will also call for shared responsibility and commitment on the part of students
The problem is we all know what these things mean when spoken by a doctrinaire leftist like Obama.
The White House beats a very-partial, hasty retreat:

Bammy is like ...a GOD!
It's just Obamavision!
Remember, children. Always report any suspicious thoughts that your parents may have to the federal authorities.
That is all.
Translation: Damn! We shouldn't have distributed the lesson plan! We should have just had our propagandists - er, NEA stooges - er, teachers, handed it out right after the speech!
If you should be foolish enough to be a thought criminal, they have methods of dealing with you!
The kaisen of fascism—they’ll get it right yet.
