Sept. 2) -- Denunciations, denials and apologies are flying after an advertisement that evokes 9/11 quickly spread around the blogosphere.

AdFreak.com called attention to the purported World Wildlife Fund print ad that shows dozens of airliners taking aim at Manhattan. The copy reads: "The tsunami killed 100 times more people than 9/11. The planet is brutally powerful. Respect it. Preserve it."

Man, these people really do live in a bubble. You know this ad must have been seen by at least a dozen people before it finally made it to print, and not one of them pointed out how much this would alienate the target audience and defeat the entire purpose?

The idiots don't even realize they make the point that the "brutally powerful" planet is something we can't control.....

.....and that we should control things we can, like Terrorism.

Isn’t the World Wildlife Fund sponsored by that dreaded UN? It would have made more sense if those planes had headed for the UN building instead of the WTC on 9/11. It would’ve been a PR touchdown for the jihadists.
