HAMILTON — A Hamilton mother could face the death penalty on charges that she killed her 5-week-old son and stuffed him in a garbage can because he was the product of sex with a minor.

Asuncion “Suzie” Avila-Villa, 25, who lived in an upstairs apartment in the 1300 block of Shuler Avenue, was arrested Aug. 25 and charged with murder, endangering children, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.

We had a local man arrested for killing his ten week old baby this week end. The autopsy indicates that the baby was swung by his leg, which was broken, into a hard object, probably a table, smashing his head several times. Then the man took the baby and buried him on the wife’s ex-boyfriend’s property. The mother was in jail having been booked into jail that day, to serve a six year term for burglary. The man had numerous arrests for meth use and sales to minors. The woman’s rap sheet was longer than his.
