WND has found new evidence that Stanley Ann Dunham, President Obama's mother, was in Seattle in August 1961, within days of her son's birth, contrary to the accepted narrative.
In a video that has been removed from the Internet since the 2008 presidential campaign, Susan Blake, a high school friend of Obama's mother, gave an interview in which she discussed seeing Dunham shortly after Barack Obama Jr.'s Aug. 4, 1961, birth.
The video can be seen here:

If her mother did the filing, she and Barry did not need to be there. The necessary information, like the sex of the baby, could have been phoned from anywhere, or telegraphed, that being somewhat more common for international communications in the pre geosyncrhonous communications satellite days. Heck that was only a year after the first Echo was launched and a year before Telstar 1. That's not to say there weren't telephone cables to Hawaii, there were, but some other places had a bit more "rough" communications arrangements in '61.

Hey Thanks! I was just asking about that today.
Oops. Just looked up the poster and that was you.
Thanks again.
That's all true. But I don't think that is what they did.
The urgency of her effort to get back to Hawaii, in my view, suggests that she had a mission with respect to the child. Had I been a lawyer attempting to set up a record of US birth here, I would have done it. But doing so would have required the presence of the kid in Hawaii because a fake "true birth" filing would have required the footprint.
My guess is that Stanley Ann or her mother or maybe someone else was setting that up.
It could have been the other way--one reason I don't think so is that if they were prepared to do only an information filing, they would have done that on August 4. Fact that they waited until the 8th, after other births that were filed earlier suggests to me that they were waiting to be able to set up the facts for a proper filing.
And the story about the woman who was the Hawaii Health Department employee who first heard about the issue when he was running for the Senate in Illinois and who then looked at the file suggests that is what they were really up to--and they muffed it. The filing actually makes it clear he was born in Mombasa.
So she has the baby in Kenya. S upposedly the vibes in KEnya are not good. She flies BOAC to London then Glasgow Scotland?? Then NY to Seattle. Seattle to HI.
Or BOAC from London to Canada???
Looks like CHerry has been following my line...Only difference is that grandma didn’t register the baby...THe American Embassy sent a wire to her “home state” informing them of the birth......Vancover would simple note that she tarveled with a child on her passport/POE information. Thus three sources of documentation just as CHerry says....Wish I could correct her. ;~)
Great story. May I give a synopsis of the end part?
It really makes sense, although being an American and a citizen of another country has never stopped middle eastern fathers from kidnapping their children and taking them to the father’s home country.
Oh! And maybe it is the Canadian BC that was lost in a fire, in 1972?
skip my request. Thanks
Amazing. I never saw that picture of Obama’s mother before. She really put on weight.
His mom was heavy and his father certainly wasn’t skinny. Where did Obama get his skinny genes? He looks nothing like his mother or his father. He’s a long legged mack daddy! LOL
As has porobably been posted before this one, there may not be a long form in Hawaiian records. If Barry’s family applied for a BC for him and he was not registered as a birth in the particular hospital HE claims, then there would not be anything but a first short form and whatever subsequent changes ocvcurred with various events in his life, like being adopted in Hawaii by Lolo Soetoro and renamed.
He didn’t need to call his grandmother to get the facts — his mother was still alive when he wrote that book.
He makes it up as he goes.
Kezia would be the only person still alive who could tell the truth about whether or when Stanley Ann was in Kenya.
And this is important because...
All he had do was pick up the phone and call his grandmother. She had to know.
How do you know she told him the truth? Ever consider the possibility that she blamed his father for her daughter's unhappiness, and wanted to portray him in the worst possible light to her grandson?
I know for sure NY requires one. Not sure about Hawaii.
At any rate, the divorce records say they were married in Maui. I find it highly unlikely that Stanley would risk perjury and lie about her place of marriage when there was nothing to be gained from such a lie, especially when it would be really easy for a court clerk to check it.
What unhappiness? She finished college, got an MA and PhD, and did what she wanted to do. She traveled all over the world. I don't think BHO Sr being gone bothered her all that much, she might have regreted the loss of Lolo more, but maybe not. She didn't seem to really like men all that much anyway. (I mean as to have around underfoot as it were.) She does seem to have tried to shelter Barry from the stigma of being fatherless, and "different".
That's called assuming your conclusion.
Hawaii because a fake "true birth" filing would have required the footprint.
Source? Hospitals often record footprints for ID within the hospital, but nothing that goes to the state has a footprint on it. It probably should, for a more positive ID in later years, but AFAIK, it doesn't.
August 4th was a Saturday. There'd have been no one to "accept" the filing that day. The 6th, Monday would have been the earliest it could be submitted. and it might have been submitted then and processed differently, taking longer, than one that had already been checked by a local/hospital registar, or it just took a couple of days. The Nordke twins BCs show the same day for both Local registrar and Registrar General, but a '63 one from the Army Tripler hospital shows a 4 day difference. (Although that could reflect on the Army not necessarily the Registrar general)
Good point, although he might have been more comfortable contacting Grandma since he was probably closer to her anyway. At least until her "whiteness" became a political liablity. Also, Hawaii is easier to reach than Indonesia, Pakistan, or Timbuktu, or where ever she was at the time. :)
