LONDON, England (CNN) -- British police are reviewing the death of Rolling Stones founder Brian Jones, 40 years after the hard-living rocker was found dead in a swimming pool.
Police in Sussex, in southern England, have confirmed they are examining documents given to them by an investigative journalist who has been researching events surrounding Jones' death.
Scott Jones, who is not related to the musician, has spent four years reviewing the evidence and speaking to key witnesses in the case.

He’s still dead, Jim.
I knew Mick did it!
I have no Sympathy for the Devil, but I might Paint it Black.
Actually, don’t they have more important problems in the UK than this?
The cops didn’t get No Satisfaction from the previous investigation.
Hey (Hey)

Get offa my cloud
Live fast, die young and leave a good looking corpse.
More than I can say for the rest of the Stones.
Jones drowned and they are reopening the investigation? Too late, Kennedy just died.
Rock and Roll Ping.
Mary Jo Kopechne died on July 18, 1969, and the U.S. media has just fallen all over itself memorializing the guy who was driving the car she died in.
Maybe they can move it all to Philadelphia and make a “Cold Case” episode out of it?
I think Ms Kopechne is at peace. Cant say the same thing for some crack and pop sound coming from the underworld where a certain fat, boozehound is in agony as we speak.
Not to be confused with the Scottish version , Hey Mcloud , get off of my ewe .
Out of curiosity, I read the wikipedia entry for Brian Jones. It goes into remarkable detail about his life. It is in stark contrast to Barack Obama’s life which is a complete unknown. No school records, no accounts of his youth by friends. Nothing. Just the fabricated “history” foisted on us through the ghost writings of Bill Ayers.
Bush’s Fault.
There might be something to this. Read the article--it's interesting.
Little late, dontcha think?
What you are saying is “It’s All Over Now.” /sarcasm
Agreed-it is interesting.
Oh, you’ve got a “Heart of Stone”.
