New TV Ad on Seniors Bill of Rights WASHINGTON The Republican National Committee (RNC) today unveiled a new national television ad highlighting its Seniors Bill of Rights, which specifies six protections that must be part of any effort to reform health care. The web video, entitled Seniors Bill of Rights, can be viewed here:

Steel is calm, yet direct; Obama can take a few lessons from this guy.
Mary is soooooo cute!
“Everyone should have the same individual rights. Granting special people special rights is just garbage.”
Too bad we didn’t have a list of principles to guide us now...something like a Constitution, with a Bill of Rights...something that would make a strong Republic, if it was FOLLOWED the way it was written...
The concept is great. I love the idea of a “Seniors Bill of Rights”. It’s simple to understand and will resonate with people.
However: this is a horrible ad!
Michael Steele is the wrong guy to deliver the message. Yes, he’s a black guy, but he’s a frickin’ political actor and everyone knows it. How attracted would WE be to an ad featuring Howard Dean?
The music is a distraction.
Have a DOCTOR present the information in a straightforward simple way. Frank Luntz’s meters proved this is who people want to hear about healthcare from, not an actor and definitely not a pol.
If it were a black, female doctor, so much the better.
If the RNC isn’t stuck on stupid, they will revise this ad and go blow some doors off.
Bingo!
Agree.
This will just cause other special groups to demand their own bills of rights.
And it ‘appears’ to be what it is — political.
I think the whole point of the ad is to get the seniors on board against obamacare. Without the support of the seniors going out voicing their opinions, we’ll lose this fight. We need the seniors on this.
That's a mighty big IF with the RNC. IF they weren't stupid they'd do as you said, AND they would expand upon and carry this idea over to the 2010 elections as an appeal to everyone who cares about mom and pop, and gramps.
Let the death-dealing 'rats know that we respect and value our elders in this land.
I know, I know..... I already knew the GOP is not the libertarian stronghold I sometimes pretend, but this is just "Democrat Light" and I'm sick of picking which group I want to pander to for votes.
It's way past time for someone, somewhere to demonstrate some damn principles
As if it matters, but be it publicly known, I am not a Republican after seeing this ad.
Best of luck to Steele and company but I ain't playin this game.
No, the concept is is just plain whoring the GOP to buy some votes from seniors and it demonstrates a COMPLETE lack of any principles whatsoever.
Disgusting is the word I would use, not "great"
We need the seniors on this....correction we need everyone on this.
I have all the Rights I need.
