I'd like to know just exactly what Obama intends to say to all these little kids. I suspect that it will be indoctrination and propaganda, pure and simple.
I've contacted a friend on the local school board. I won't be surprised if he doesn't even know about this.
Search is your friendhttp://www.freerepublic.com/focus/search?m=all;o=time;q=quick;s=President%20Obama%92s%20Address%20to%20Students%20Across%20America%20September%208%2C%202009%20
Sorry, I missed it. It can’t hurt to say it again.
Make Sept 8th - National Ferris Bueller Day - let 0dumbo spew his communist drivel and indoctrination propaganda to empty classrooms!
As that famous marine said. “Stay away from my kids.”
Just think, an army of Obamatrons getting their marching orders directly from the imperial leader: Go forth, find an enemy and report back.
Parents need to get ontop of this post haste. If it is not part of the approved state curriculum, demand it not go on. If it does, pull your kid out of school that day.
Just like most things that turn out bad, this is packaged as an educational improvement endeavor. It will end up as indoctrination helped on by the teachers unions. There is no way this guy is going to by pass an opportunity to spew his socialist agenda.

I’m going to protest this by pulling my kids out of any function that has to do with the Obamanation.
I have instructed my one public school kid to start laughing at him, even if it gets him in trouble.
Contact your school board. Parents should be given the option to keep their kids out of this.
I was just at Michelle Malkin’s website, and many parents are keeping their kids home that day.
Thankfully, I don’t have any kids in school now or I would keep them home.
Get the government away from our kids.
National Ferris Beuller Day sounds wonderful.
No way I would let this skid mark address my child.
I really like the second talking point on the list:
What do you think it takes to become president?
Um, how about crooks, voter fraud, and corruption? Sounds like a good answer to me.
So why is this geared towards K-6? Maybe highschoolers are old enough to identify BS when they smell it?
Tomorrow, my first priority will be to call my School District and find out what their ‘opt out’ policy is. I will (politely) inform them that I will not consent to propaganda and/or indoctrination of my sons.
I don’t think this will be a problem in our very red, district. On Inauguration Day, all TVs in the class rooms were ‘on’ but my HS age son his language teacher (I know her outside of school) said she was ‘told’ it had to be on; but she gave the students the option of quietly doing their homework/studying or watching. My son said two girls sat by the monitor, everyone else ignored it.
“Kids, don’t do drugs. But if it ends up that you give in and do crack and marijuana like I did, don’t get too down on yourself. It’s not so bad. After all, it didn’t keep me from getting elected President.
It is for high schoolers, it's just that you're looking at the K-6 curriculum for "Obama Day"
The high schoolers have critical thinking exercises like "Why is it important to listen to our President?"
(I kid you not! Can you imagine such a curricular aid when Bush was Prez?)
This needs to be publicized and criticized for what it is far and wide...and repeatedly! This administration is moving without pause in the direction of building a Marxist dictatorship.
