My biggest concern is what happens when this guy starts wigging out.... He really hasn’t been tested yet. He’s so aloof, he may not be able to handle this kind of rejection....

I must be out of touch. Does he get all wee wee’d up before or after he wigs out? Or am I totally lost with modern political speech?

I expect something like Hitler in the bunker in April ‘45: “They’re all traitors!!” “They never deserved me!”

I hope he wigs out. Would be fun to watch. He’s ruining our country.

I’m telling ya, claw marks on the door frame of the Oval Office as they drag him out hooked up to the Prozac drip.

That is what a lot of us fear. That and what these radicals are planning in order to create an “emergency” like this did the financial crisis.

He’ll do what they do in the entertainment industry. Surround yourself with paid off Yes people who praise you all day long. Enough of that treatment, and then end up living in total bizarro world because you’ve lost all sense of reality from never hearing the word “no” or your actions criticized.

"Hes so aloof, he may not be able to handle this kind of rejection...."
It's a valid concern, but then again lots of us were fearful of his psychological background way back in the primaries. Fact is, he's had a lifetime of rejection by key formative influences. He was abandoned by his alleged biological father (on whom, tellingly, he centered the first of his autobiographies... and how many folks with a thin a resume as his have two autobiographies before the age of 50?), then by his adoptive father, then by his mother when she dumped him on his grandparents, who in turn largely left him to moulder in the embrace of a communist pedophile (who may have been, quite plausibly, his actual biological father), about whom he wrote some highly creepy poetry.
As Rush says, what could go wrong?
Against that background, it's no small wonder that the one area where he has absolutely ensured against rejection is in the field of politics. There, his record in Chicago clear through his Senate campaign was one of ice-cold, iron-fisted nullification of his opponents, including former allies and mentors. Loyalty appears not to be in his vocabulary. Even during last year's election we saw several occasions when he tossed allies and even family under the bus in his relentless pursuit of victory... and, given all the above, very likely, some sort of twisted validation.
But what could go wrong?

He may not be able to handle finishing his term, at least in a substantive way. His MO is to dabble and then move on. He’s never been in anhthing for the long haul..

Like many Freepers here we know people from all career paths, ask yourself do I have anyone in my social circles in the Mental Health Arena? Get them aside and see if they will give you their observations of the anointed one. IMHO (and I am not in that business) This guy is a Narcissist, (potentially other things as well) and when they mentally crash I am told it ain't pretty. That begs the question will he finish his term or will he be asked to resign because his mental health becomes questionable, and will he will unfit to govern.

The usual history of this kind of nut is to pile lie upon lie upon lie. Until things get so disgusting that a coup happens.
