The Dems are backing off Obama for the same reason many here on FR backed off Pres Bush or refused to support McCain. They see Obama as not following the political road they want or expected. They are not people who will be voting GOP in any election.

The media often forgets that disapproval ratings are not all a one way street.

This is one of those good news bad news stories...the good news, his approval rating is tanking. The bad news...like any other wounded animal, he will strike back viciously. Watch for the heat to be turned up on any dissent and anything held highly by the right like FIREAMRS. I see where he is going to address the school children...if that does not smack of some kind of fifth column within everyone’s home: the beloved leader asking for help from the enlightened children to help change their parents opinions of him and his agenda and to report anyone who goes against either.

Bad times are coming and the smell of revolution may be in the air soon.
