Publisher expects its author to settle scores, take no prisoners, tell all
WASHINGTON - Dick Cheney is one of the most remarkable figures in American political history.
There, I said it.
Objectively speaking, no matter your ideology, take a step back. One can only marvel at the former vice presidents moxie, mettle and maneuverability over a storied 40-year career. Forget that the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., authored some 300 or so laws, most of which undoubtedly touched every American Dick Cheney wrote the book on how to work the system to ones personal advantage.

Typical dimoKKKRAT writer. Go Cheney.
Ted Kennedy did more than write all those laws, he is responsible for much of the dumbing down of American education, however, the MSM blamed all that on President Bush. I hate to think about the Kennedy legacy, like ripples on the pond, will slowly strangle the American Citizen’s freedoms and liberties.
Like a lot of others, I just can’t wait for Cheney’s book to come out. I hope he kicks serious butt and doesn’t even bother to take names.
I’m looking forward to it too. Although I prefer biography to autobiography, I’ll make an exception for “Darth”!
The dumbing down has worked marvelously for the party of Ted Kennedy. I could relate campus stories that would sound unbelievable.
Thinking of making an exception and buying this book. Usually don’t buy these types of things but Cheney might be interesting and truthful enough to make it worthwhile.
Yes, to compare any Kennedy to Cheney is akin to comparing PeeWee Hermann to Atilla the Hun......
I’d pre-order it were it available, but it’s not.
Mr. Cheneys memoir, which will focus on the past 40 years of his life, mostly in Washington, will be published in the spring of 2011. The deal was negotiated by Robert Barnett, a Washington lawyer who also represents Mr. Bush, former President Bill Clinton and President Obama.
The former vice president is working with his eldest daughter, Liz Cheney, on the memoir. Ms. Cheney is helping with research and filling in the gaps.

I like that!
Moochers and Looters, they should hang.
We should not praise or tolerate this kind of graft anymore, no more stealing the earnings of Americans, NO MORE!
My grandmother says we’re all still paying for LBJ’s ‘great society’ but she calls the legislation LBJ’s b*stards and says Obama is the b*stard off all b*stards.
Never heard if this loser. Can’t wait to buy Cheney’s book.
Cheney’s book will top the NYT’s best seller list. Even the far left will buy it. LOL.
