The womyn from Code Pink are traveling to Afghanistan for a week of treasonous actions under the guise of a womyn's rights field trip.
Code Pink pitches the trip with a chance to get introduced to the Afghan resistance:
Join CODEPINK's small delegation to Kabul, Afghanistan to witness the current situation and return home to speak about it on the 8th anniversary of the US invasion. Our trip will include a meaningful introduction to Afghanistan's rich history and culture, struggle and resistance,...
Their pending presence must present a difficult choice for the Taliban: Heads up, or heads off?
At any rate, or to be precise for $1725 (international airfare, hash and opium not included), you too can join Medea Benjamin and her band of 21st century Jane Fondas on their trustafarian adventure.
The trip runs from Sept. 28 to Oct. 5. Code Pink says of the trip, "This delegation seeks to enhance understanding of Islam and Afghan culture..."

is Jayne Fonda going?
I think they should make sure they meet with LGBT groups while they are in country. Maybe stage a pride march with them.
“Visit newly built and opened girls school’s”
Apparently their copyeditor needs to go to one of those girl’s schools to learn how to write a plural.

Yep! GREAT IDEA! Those Talibanis will SURE show them how they treat women. Should be an excellent ‘life lesson’ for them.
Pink Burkas —> Yuck.
I think some of them might be going as “Pablum Puking Liberals” (remember who used to say that) and returning as hardened Conservatives once they meet the enemy ...
I’d like to bet that the pinkers would be ordering Dick Cheney blow-up dolls if they got to spend a month with the Taliban.
May I suggest, as part of their multi-cultural experience, they venture into the mountains, alone, to meet with the taliban, not covering their heads, hair and do so with no escort or military intervention. I’m sure they’d have nothing to fear.
That’s gonna be one smelly plane trip. Jeesh.
This should be interesting.
Hmmmmm - let us look at the logic of this trip.

They will be treated like queens for propaganda purposes, and will return with tales of how noble and misunderstood the Taliban are. They are dupes and will only meet the potemkin talibs.
For once, I’m in favor of beheadings.
The Taliban doesn’t understand western society enough to pull that off, besides, their utter hatred of women would never allow that, they couldn’t if they tried ... They are savages in the purest form ...
I don’t like Code Pink, but looking at the list of folks they’re meeting with, I don’t see anything objectionable. Am I missing something?
Yes. Those meetings are cover for their true agenda.
