Have a hankering to visit a hospital in Hawaii?
You could win a trip to tour the hospital where President Barack Obama was born. All you have to do is to submit the winning idea on how people can help Obama change the country for the better.
Progress Now, a liberal grass roots group, launched a new program to urge people across the country to help Obama pass healthcare reform and enact his other core campaign promises.
According to a press release, this campaign is the first part of the national launch of the 50 Ways You Can Help Obama Change America a book by ProgressNow founder Michael Huttner.
The campaign and book are designed to inspire more people to help at a time when progressive values are under attack in Washington and across the nation, Huttner said.
ProgressNow and its state partners are seeking entries on how to help Obama change America. You can enter the contest by clicking here.
The grand prize will be a trip for two to Honolulu for a private tour of the hospital where Obama was born, followed by a chance to take part in a community service project there on Jan 18.

How much you want to bet that the Obama admin has its paws in with this group??
Remarkable!
He could quit; that would really help the country! Can’t believe this is real! *groan*
No need to see Kenya, but thanks for asking.
But even without a prize, I'll help.
Here is a constructive policy suggestion: resign.
There, I helped. And they said I couldn't be bipartisan ;-D
I don’t really want a trip to Mombasa. If I win, may I take the cash equivalent instead?
pathetic. how much you want to bet they are getting tax dollars in some way, shape or form.
Which hospital are they going to tour?
The Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu, Hawaii?
or
Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii?
And will the Hospital even be able to confirm or deny that they are touring the winners through the RIGHT hospital?
“We can’t confirm or deny it even though all the information out there says he was born at Kapi’olani Hospital,” said hospital spokeswoman Claire Tong. “Our hands are tied.”
Make that a one way trip.
How do you visit a petri dish?
Is a safari thrown in as well?
Is this a joke? Does this group really exist?
I am absolutely dumbfounded. Well, for one thing, that they have decided which Hawaii hospital was the place of his birth (since he has given two of them).
But aside from that, when in the world has a US president had people going to visit his birthplace 7 months into his administration, and at a time when his popularity rating has already sunk to unheard of lows. We may visit Lincoln’s birthplace, Jefferson’s mansion and that of FDR, but nobody in the US goes and visits the birthplace of a sitting president ... unless, of course, your president is the Divine Ms Barry, I guess.
Folks, I hope you all realize how creepy this is. Think Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Chavez or any cult of personality dictator you can name.
But I don’t want to go to Kenya...
Fire Biden, hire Palin, then resign.
But, no thanks, I don’t want to go to Kenya, so please give the ticket to Obama.
50 Ways You Can Help Obama Change America
Agree. The only thing he can do that I would support is his resignation.
Let’s see, for the other 49 ways, first fire the 30-odd Czars.
That leaves still a dozen or so, so go ahead and fire any other egregious political appointments.
That will give us a little bit of breathing room.
Missed the comma first time around. Thought it said:
Help Obama win a trip to see where he was born
and was hoping it was a one-way ticket...
Does suggesting he resign and take Biden, Pelosi, Reid, etc. with him qualify?? Sounds like a great idea to me.
Resign in disgrace and “do the honourable thing” was my suggestion. Think they’ll pass it on to him?
link to contest no workie..where are they at?
Somewhere ... down there ... in one of those!
