Acorns email to the Sheep (countering protesters)
HCAN ^ | August 4, 2009 | Acorn

Posted on 08/30/2009 6:51:41 AM PDT by Wpin

Since early February, we’ve seen increasing numbers of militant right-wing activists attending public meetings across the country targeting Members of Congress and President Obama. Now in the August recess, the “tea-bagger” protesters and right-wing activists are showing up in larger numbers with a mission to be as disruptive as possible in the hopes of rattling Members of Congress and halting health care reform through pure spectacle and obstruction. Our response is shaped by 3 things:

* Our targets are Members of Congress who must vote “yes” for this bill. Our targets are not the right-wing extremists. The targets of these attacks are Members of Congress. Those Members are also our targets. We need to use these attacks as opportunities to work with the Members in ways that build our relationship in the field and bring us together as allies in health care reform. Members may be more receptive to partnering with us if they know we will help them combat the opposition. * Our core message is effective, and we should always come back to it. Our campaign plan has always anticipated opposition. No matter what the right-wingers bring up to distract the debate, we should always circle back to our key message. We are on the side of quality, affordable health care for everyone, and we are against turning over health care reform to the insurance companies and lobbyists who got us into this mess to begin with. We need to educate the press and the public that the protesters are aligned with the corporate lobbyists and insurance companies who are trying to stop reform.

This is the anti-protester game plan ACORN is emailing out to it's sheep. Very interesting stuff, notice they do not want to debate...they cannot stand up to the scrutiny of honesty. Also notice that they are pushing the idea that their are "paid organizers" from "the lobbyists"...

The game plan looks like it was devised by a group called Health Care America Now or something like that...but the email a friend forwarded to me was from ACORN.

Just remember the left wing anti-American Congress voted to give this left wing anti-American organization 3.2 billion dollars in the stem-u-less bill.

Who are these people?
The people who show up are far right-wing ideologues recruited by paid organizers. (My note: Now we’ll pay you $15 per hour to get out there and counter these people - signs and slogans will be prepared for your use).

YEEEEEEE HAWWWWWWWWWW!!! I’m gonna run to my mailbox and wait for my check..

Notice how they never identify EXACTLY who is doing the paying..just a blanket statement made up in the far recesses of their drug saddled minds, knowing their followers will believe it with nary a shred of evidence..

We had health care rally in Terre Haute, and five different people counted the people attending, each doing it entirely separately, writing down the number on a piece of paper and giving it to the reporter. Each person wrote down 105, completely independently of each other.

The reporter wrote that "more than 65 attended."

Don’t forget, they also cut a deal with AARP to get Health Care passed.

I don’t think that will happen, there are going to be way too many of us there...reports are that there will be over 500,000 American protesters in DC on the 12th, I am going and plan on carrying a few bottles of pepper spray... just in case.

Rules for radicals. Accuse your enemy of what in fact you are doing yourselves. Demonize them.

Wish I could be there to see it. Also to see how the MSM is going to spin it. Maybe I should be a one person Tea party at the Embassy here.

Actually, she looks like Obama will look a few years out of office after he’s done the Algore/Teddy Kennedy bloat.

That's an interesting statement. They've been convincing members that they are a vast majority but seem to be retreating from that attitude. Sounds to me like they realize that they've got trouble.

Left wing moonbats are paid and bused in from out of district, then lie and say the republicans were the ones being bused in. The local paper printed their lies and then had to reprint the truth days later after they were sent pictures of the buses and moonbats.

It is strange because I’ll bet 90% know the email is a lie about who the protesters are and why they are out there.

Check out the SEIU link in the FR thread on the Jackson protest. They openly admit to being bussed in.

WHEN THE PROGRESSIVES BOO, IT’S A GRASS ROOTS MOVEMENT. BUT WHEN YOU OPPOSE THEM…..

You are a “far right-wing ideologue recruited by paid organizers”. So says Margarida Jorge. And she should know.

She is an activist. Plain and simple. She’s a National Field Director for Health Care for America NOW! (HCAN). Prior to that, she was Organizing Director for Pro-Vote, the Missouri Progressive Vote Coalition. Pro-Vote lists as coalition partners: ACORN, ADA—Americans for Democratic Action (Missouri Chapter), NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri, MNEA Pac—Missouri National Educational Association Pac, and just about every Labor Union in the state of Missouri
