Group Protests Greensboro Neo-Nazi Meeting
National Socialist Movement Kept Triad Meeting Secret
UPDATED: 8:21 pm EDT August 29, 2009
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The controversial National Socialist Movement group/Party, commonly referred to as neo-Nazis, was in Greensboro Saturday night for a regional business meeting.
While civic leaders decided not to respond to the group's presence in the Triad, others said they don't want the meeting in their neighborhood.
A group of nearly 100 people gathered at Elm and McGee streets to show their opposition to the neo-Nazis' presence in Greensboro.
"I think we need to continue to stand up as a community and let hate groups know that they're not welcome here and that they don't represent a majority view in the south, especially," said Rebecca Meder.
A diverse group filled the plaza for about two hours. Many carried signs saying "fight hate" or "stop racism."
"It's not right for this day and time to allow such hatred in our country when we have so much more to deal with," said Norris Wright.
The neo-Nazis kept the location of their Saturday meeting secret; however, the opposing group wanted to let the members NSM know that the organization's openly racist and pro-white beliefs are not welcome in Greensboro.
"They've come here, many times they've killed people," said Richard Stafford. "I'm here to tell them I'm not going to be afraid in my own city."

I wonder if they remember how it turned out the last time they confronted the racists in Greensboro (the so-called ‘Death to the Klan Rally’)?
What is the purpose of their meetings? They now have a Fabian Socialist as President.
I heard that it was in a large hall which was partitioned by a curtain. One “half hall” was the neo-nazi’s, the other “half hall” was the local Democrat Party. Once they realized they all liked the same programs, they just raised the curtain, embraced and started hooting and hollering, chanting “higher taxes”, “health care for me but not for thee” and “execute Dick Cheney and George Bush.”
Was this racist hate group part of La Raza, Black Panthers or the NAACP ?
Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr. was unavailable for comment.
Why is a group of obama-supporters bothering with a secret meeting?
