The world's first truly dual-screen laptop, which will allow computer users to multi-task while on the move, is due to go on sale by the end of the year.

The pioneering PC, known as the Spacebook, is the brainchild of Alaska-based technology firm gScreen.
The gScreen Spacebook will boast two 15.4 in screens which can slide away to fill the space of a single screen when the laptop is being stored or transported.
Gordon Stewart, the founder of gScreen, told the website that the first Spacebooks should be available on Amazon by December this year, once final modifications are complete.
"We designed this knowing that many may not need the extra screen at all times," he said.

Hello Apple.
I can run an HDMI cable from my Toshiba Qosmio to 32” or 52” Sharp AquaVision LCDs already.
I have a Dell XPS M1730 w/dual Intel T9300s (2.5 ghz each), dual NVidia 8700M GTs in SLI, 4gb RAM and a 1920X1280 17" screen...except when I'm docked at home I use a 26" HD screen and my Nose sound system.
I have been thinking about one of the new quad core machines with dual 8900s...but that's a tall order for Christmas. Have to see what this one sports.
Here's my XPS system with a couple of screen shots:
Screens remain planer (very tiring)...not nearly as good as two separate screens. They may want to try it out for an hour or so prior to marketing it.
Somehow I will probably sit next to some yahoo using one of these on some future flight.
