Good Job. What a weenie out of conference schedule. This must be why they always lose to an SEC team in their bowl game. At least Navy will get enough $ to pay for the rest of their athletic programs. I Ohio St. had any cahones, they would challenge Navy to a lacrosse game.

Um, Ohio State plays USC next.

What was that about a weenie out of conference schedule? Who does your team play that stacks up to USC?

Ohio State vs. SEC

Ohio State is 0-8 all-time vs. SEC teams in bowl games. The two most recent losses — to Florida in the 2007 BCS Championship and to South Carolina in the 2002 Outback Bowl — are the only two blemishes on Jim Tressel’s bowl record.

Bowl Opp. Results

2007 BCS title Florida L, 41-14
‘02 Outback S. Carolina L, 31-28
‘01 Outback S. Carolina L, 21-7
‘96 Citrus Tennessee L, 20-14
‘95 Citrus Alabama L, 24-17
‘93 Citrus Georgia L, 21-14
‘90 Hall of Fame Auburn L, 31-14
‘78 Sugar Alabama L, 35-6

What a weenie out of conference schedule.

Florida plays Charleston Southern and Troy

Georgia plays Tennessee Tech

LSU plays Tulane and Louisiana Tech

Kentucky plays Miami of Ohio

Tennessee is playing Western Kentucky and Ohio University.

They all play a "weenie" out of conference schedules. Say what you want about SEC vs. Big Ten, I can't argue with that. But Ohio State at least scheduled USC this year. I know they were killed last year, but they did schedule the team. They have played Texas in scheduled non-conference play. They played Washington which was ranked high when they scheduled it. You can't blame their poor performance the year they played them on Ohio State. It's just the way it happened.

Ohio State plays Miami of Florida 2010 & 2011, and Cal in 2012. Ohio State does play some non-pushover teams on it's schedule.

Good Job. What a weenie out of conference schedule. This must be why they always lose to an SEC team in their bowl game. Don't Underestimate Navy. Just ask South Carolina, New Mexico, Colorado State and BC. We may not have the master in Paul Johnson any more but the system he created still runs well.
