I just returned from the Che-Porter Town Hall In Portsmouth, NH. I arrived at 12:15 and there were about 85 Moonbats and 30 or so Patriots in line for one hunred seats.
The weather was Horrible, the location even worse, think the North End in Boston or parts of Back Bay. The Federal Buidding on 80 Daniel Street is about the size of a High School in a small town, real SMALL and located in a dead end area that two F-250's would have trouble passing each other.
The moonbats had front loaded the line with the usual preprinted signs, though I did see a few Patriot Milk Carton lost Congresscritter signs among the host.
Realizing that I wasn't going to get in I took a walk around to check licience plates and bumper stickers a lot of plates with from foriegn places, Mass, RI, NY and Conn. to far out to be apart of the tourist trade, with Hopey Changy stickers.

I waited around to see if there was going to be a protest by the good guy's I saw none, so I came home and started a thead for the Town Hall. I hope some FReepers that got in will check in.

I think that will become common, thugs taking over in Dem Townhalls. hard to get in when they cheat and fill a place up with paid dupes.
I predict the media will start reporting that pro obamacare people now out number the real world.
I am also waiting for the dems to start hand printing signs to counter all of ours.

They’ll call it a “poll”.

She had one of those “phone call” meetings, I guess, about a week or so ago. 7:30 PM or so, I get a call, and the blabber starts.
The usual staged questions, talking point answers, ect.
I guess I was on the list ‘cause she’s gotten a couple of letters from me, and I’m in the phone book. Of course, in return, I got the usual rat form letters saying how good their approach would be for all of us.
I guess I should worry about her being exempt from the new, glorious health care system, but I think it’d be better to...
Anyway, I’m sorry you wasted your time, but slime is slime, and there’s not much to be done ‘till next year, when I get to vote against her again. Besides, had I shown up, my F350 would have blocked the damned street, and then there would be the CCW to be considered...

I saw one. A rather hard looking woman with a hand printed sing walked away from the Town Hall so I figured that she was one of the good guys.
I though that she could tell me if there was going to be a counter protest. The Sign said, "Public Option Now". There was a young Black Girl with her with a preprinted sign, so I just walked on by.

My FRiend, FReepin’ is never a waste of time. It can be frustrating but when everything comes together it is the most fun that you can have fully dressed, if I remember those things correctly.

At her radio town hall I tried to get Che-Porter to explicitly state where Congress has the power to mandate health insurance after she blew it off twice to other callers. Unfortunately, the call screener required me to be able to ask the question in 10 words or less, which I was unable to do. Truth was, it was hard enough to speak at all while I was spitting nails. No follow up questions allowed from the citizens or any kind of help from the radio host, either. How does a citizen find out about these townhall meetings?

Here's another pantload:
http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/20090829-NEWS-908299986
From the article:
"Bob Mantegari and Ann Douglas were the first people to arrive outside the federal building at 8 a.m. Saturday morning for a health care reform town hall meeting hosted by Rep. Carol Shea-Porter, D-NH.
Four hours later, and still two hours from the anticipated 2 p.m. start time, they were the only Seacoast residents holding signs protesting efforts to reform the country's healthcare system.
The rest of the crowd of people waiting in the rain outside on Daniel Street held signs in favor of Shea-Porter and health care reform. The controlled mood of the crowd was a stark contrast to other recent town hall meetings on health care around the country that have been characterized by loud protesters and shouting."
Gawd, and they wonder why they're going out of business.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you had to prove that you actually live in the district in order to participate in these ‘town hall’ gatherings. That way they could bus in as many people that they want, but her actual constituents would be the only ones getting in.
I know, I live in a strange fantasy world...
