The State Run Media has been given it’s marching orders by Obama and are no longer providing coverage of protesters or town halls I assume cause I don’t hear about it being in the news anymore. Their attempts to change the debate to try to favor Obama and refuse to run anti- public option ads on their stations is evidence of this.

If you’re counting on 2010 to correct whatever happens between now and then you are sadly mistaken. The fight is right here, right now. If the Dems pass their agenda no future politico will ever overturn it.
Of course I have no way of knowing if you are a libertarian but I stand by my charge that it is facile is substitute cynicism for analysis. If you had your way there will not be enough Republicans left in the house or senate to shake hands.
Your statement betrays a fundamental ignorance of how the two-party system in America operates. It operates directly on the principle of the lesser of two evils in which one chooses the lesser evil because that's how democracy gets corrected. There is no such thing as the perfect politician or the perfect political party; there are only course corrections. Ultimately, we won the Cold War because America could make course corrections and the Soviet Union could not.
Do not be seduced by relativism or relativism in reverse. It is the duty of the citizen to sort out the bad from the relatively less bad and put the fear God into the survivors. To control government by democracy is at best a blunt instrument not designed to yield perfection with every election but to provide course correction from the last election.

What caught my eye was, “Health Care Reform”. The current 1000+ page proposed legislation is not “Health Care Reform”. First it is going to load our children and grandchildren with unconscionable debt for their lives. Second, it will control many aspects of our ordinary life in addition to determining when our plug will be (involuntarily !!!) pulled based on some anonymous bureaucratic ruling.
What? I cannot vote for Senators Inhofe or Coburn? Get real. Some of them are actually working for the best interest of the country. Don't put everyone in the same basket please. Also are you suggesting that there will be other viable canidates running in every district?
