Only this Breaking News header on the King 5 news site, thus far:
"Shooting - Rapid shots have been fired at North Seattle Community College in the Northgate area of Seattle; I-5 southbound near college has been shut down.
I hit that link on that psychotic and all it does is take me over to Democratic Underground.
I know. He does sound like a disturbed guy. I’m glad no one was physically hurt in all of this.
Knowing something about the other guy might let us know what their plans were regarding the shots. I don’t recall hearing or seeing the other guy’s name.

I think it was Jed (full name Jedadiah—spelling is a bit off there) Doyle. I believe. Nothing on the internet though on a cursory search. Heard the name on scanner and then I thought someone mentioned it on this thread or maybe it was one of the Seattle paper internet sites reporting. Either way. I didn’t find anything. I also didn’t do more than a Google search.

Jed Doyle is apparently 23 yrs. old and was the first one apprehended. He gave info about the Richard Floyd Blake guy.

Note, if you will, that his lengthy career in Applied Anti-Social Theory began at the comparatively precocious age of eleven (Theft), and includes multiple incidents of Assault, Harassment and Public Intoxication, among other goodies.

I am so glad there were no mass shootings, no injured motorists etc.. Just want to know about the relationship between the 2 guys.. IE: What made the younger one follow the older one? What was their goal last night?
He appears to be the right age, and matches the (admittedly) vague description provided thus far; and he's currently working as a biology researcher at UW.
Anybody else got anything...? ;)

The assault charges reminded me of the post on his MySpace page where his mood was “angry” and he was saying that he had “disowned” his father, shoulda done it a long time ago by “busting his teeth” or some similar phrase. I think it was on Father’s Day, or around that period of time.
Wow... it never ceases to amaze me what goes on in some people’s heads. I think we tend to assume that everyone we meet all live in more or less the same reality. This guy (Blake) walking down the street, would look ordinary enough.
But with one little peek behind the curtain we find out that no... no... this guy lives in a very different universe altogether.
I don’t know, Kent. I saw that earlier, but I think he was a teacher in 2001 who worked in this program. That would throw the age off a bit, wouldn’t it? Of course, the age (23) given in the information gleaned from reports last night could be wrong.
