Don't Exhale. EPA Expected to Declare Carbon Dioxide a Dangerous Pollutant

Don't exhale.
That advice may need heeding if the Environmental Protection Agency declares carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases a dangerous pollutant, a move -- expected in the next couple weeks -- that would require the federal government to impose new rules limiting emissions.
But some skeptics say regulating carbon dioxide, a byproduct of burning fossil fuels, may be a difficult task, especially since people emit carbon dioxide with every breath.
"The EPA doesn't have the manpower to implement the regulations the way they would have to be," said David Kreutzer, senior policy analyst in energy economics and climate change at the conservative Heritage Foundation.

If we want to save the planet WE ALL MUST DIE!! Or something.
Every time that rhino opens his mouth he reminds us why we did.
That is the ticket. We just create an index that computes the value of a job to the economy versus the carbon dioxide emitted by the job holder. Almost every government job would fail that index so we can either eliminate the job or execute the job holder.
Those EPA goons would be the first to go. They contribute nothing to economic growth while spewing poison into the atmosphere.
That's the very definition of an overbearing government.
Madness
We are going to have to cover all lakes and the oceans with Saran-Wrap to prevent that dangerous greenhouse gas known as water vapor from rising into the atmosphere.
The current US government is a pollutant.
We’ll all be required to wear CO2 collectors on our backs and then take them to the repository where they will be extracted, frozen and placed in a deep cavern in the earth (the one that was meant for nuclear waste, mind you), where it will remain, away from all living things, making us safe...
What about the carbon dioxide they put into BILLIONS of bottles of carbonated beverages?
Any good freeper lawyer out there want to get rich?
We should file a class-lawsuit against BIG COLA and their planet-destroying ways
I think they are big contributors to democraps, though.
What difference does that make?
Well, Tobacco Companies used to be HUGE (huge!!!) contributors to Republicans.
If they were contributing to Democraps how much do you want to bet we would all be learning about the healthful benefits of “bathing your lungs in cleansing smoke” (probably in school)
If the GOP had any balls they’d be all over this like flies on turds.
Environmentalism is a dangerous pollutant!
Wrong way to look at this. They aren't out to implement regulations with a team of inspectors, they're out to control everything in sight from the White House. While people like Kreutzer, who's probably a fine person, are going to argue this on the basis of logic and science, the Obamanistas at EPA are simply going to issue sweeping edicts that put them in charge of companies. Time to wise up.
Seconded.
Every human being will be guilty of emitting toxic chemicals and therefore must be regulated.
They must just sit back and laugh their heads off at the Republicans when they get away with this madness.
While I'm certainly mo fan of CFL bulbs, you get more mercury vapor out of the fillings in your teeth when you drink hot coffee than you'll ever get from a CFL bulb!
With the VAT, they will totally break the back of this country and turn us into Euro trash west.

In Jesus' name.
Amen
Like with the boy who cried wolf, credibility is very difficult to acquire but very easy to deliberately lose. The EPA has lost what little credibility they had.
