A convicted sex offender and his wife have been arrested in the 1991 kidnapping of an 11-year-old girl — who had been kept as a sex slave and held in the backyard of the couple's Antioch, Calif. home.
Jaycee Lee Dugard bore several children for sex offender, Phillip Garrido, 58, officers from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office said in a news conference Thursday.

While I’m sure she endured horrors for all those years, what a happy ending for her and her family. And sheesh, what sort of monsters could do this? I wonder where her children are, also, and if she will be able to get custody of them (if she wants custody)? What a horrible mess. And yes, I can’t think of anything other than death that is a fair punishment.

If I thought it could happen, sure. Unfortunately they will be treated much better than they treated her. Sad... But, I’m trying to focus on the joy she and her family must be feeling. I cannot imagine losing a child, and to lose and child and then get her back. Just wow!
