The 2009 Darwin celebrations were less than three years away, when my friend and colleague Dr Emil Silvestru, geologist and speaker with CMI-Canada, told me about an idea he had for a documentary film. He reminded me that most people dont know that Darwin saw himself firstly as a geologist, and that his evolutionary theory was very much dependent on his geological beliefs about millions of years.

Is there a reason why the title of this thread was changed so that it no longer makes sense?
If possible, I would like this thread pulled so I can start over.
The title you created didn’t match the published title and was replaced with the original published title. We ask everyone to only use published titles in order to prevent our having to pull threads.
I thought “Making the Movie” was the title. I figured the second line was a subtitle, and would most likely be too long. Do we have to post the second line in the title as well? What if it’s too long, can we shorten or change it so the reader will know that the article is about?
