Jul 31st - I wasn't there but Mr T tells me the weather was great which seems obvious from the beautiful sunset photo taken by Mrs T that you can see near the upper left corner. They were paid a visit by a troop who was assigned to Walter Reed 6 months ago and works as an LPN. She was previously assigned to Ft Washington.
Aug 7th - More good weather. The Walter Reed police continue to check on the moonbats down the street and make sure they keep their signs off of government property. We continue to keep the moonbats away from the gate. The big Sep 11-13 Washington DC Tea Party is coming up in less than three weeks. Those who are going to be in town for that weekend come down and spend some time with us on the 11th.
Honor Roll: Aug 7 More photos at [Mrs] Trooprally's Photobucket albums: 31 Jul 09 and 7 Aug 09

DC Chapter ping
Thanks for your continuing efforts to hold the high ground.
I’ve heard rumors about some functions at Walter Reed being moved to Bethesda. Do you know anything about this?
nice layout
I am beginning to think it would be a good idea to end this deployment to Afghanistan and Iraq. We can do it within a year or so I think. SLAM the “Bad guys” so hard they’ll think its Normandy. Wipe them out if we can. Bomb the Pakistan tribal areas with B-52’s if we have to. Beef up the “good guys” whoever they are, train them, give them some foreign and military aid (and some F-5’s or something) and start bringing them home.
I do not think Obama cares one iota about the troops. They will handcuff our forces with new ROE’s until they cannot do the job and then blame Bush for the results. For politics.
To a leftist EVERYTHING is about politics. Telling our troops to hold fire when attacked would have to have a political benefit but they would do it. Don’t put anything past them.
Never trust a leftist.
That is why I am starting to think its time to wrap this up.
Outstanding.
BP, if you get a chance, make sure you watch Chris Wallace (Yep), on FNS with Duckworth re: the VA death book pushed by the former Hemlock Society. After you watch, i’m sure you’ll want to get it out to the VFWs and vet groups.
Mrs. Taxman and I will join you on FRiday, Sept. 11!
We look forward to seeing everyone and renewing FRiendships.
Here’s hoping I’ll be able to join up with ya’ll next month. Woohooo!
Walter Reed is slated to close sometime in 2011. All functions moving to Bethesda will be a good thing.
A lot of the ROE problems in Afghanistan are brought on by Karzai.
Excellent!
Good deal! Bring cigars.
Thanks BufordP for the report and for inviting all Freepers to come join us on September 11 when they are in town for the big event on the 12th.
I hope to see lots of new faces!
They let people smoke in D.C.?
What kind of cigars?
LOL!
Just bring cigars for yourself to smoke. Don't worry about us. We'll have plenty.
Me, trooprally, and Jimmy Valentine's Brother smoke mild cigars. Sensei Ern smokes the ones that put hair on your chest ... and other places that are not known for hair to grow.
Yeah, you would not believe how many razor blades I go through shaving my eyeballs!
LOL!
Good aar, Bufordp.
And more great photos.
Friday 9/11 is right around the corner, you all come and join us.
There should be two more Freepers on hand for the Sep 11 Freep. dstarr and Bobsbabe will be back in the area.
Excellent!
