Jon Voight, our current favorite non-politician rabble-rouser, isnt letting up on his warnings of the potential consequences of Barack Obamas plans and policies.
Voight, who minces no words when discussing this President recently referring to Obama as a false prophet and urging Republicans to free the nation from the Obama oppression has lit into the Chief Executive again, accusing Obama of attempting a slow, steady takeover of our true freedoms, and asking if the President is creating a civil war in our own country?
In comments to the Washintgon Times, Voight again used the S word:
We are witnessing a slow, steady takeover of our true freedoms. We are becoming a socialist nation, and whoever cant see this is probably hoping it isnt true. If we permit Mr. Obama to take over all our industries, if we permit him to raise our taxes to support unconstitutional causes, then we will be in default. This great America will become a paralyzed nation.
He also suggested conservatives make sure they know the opposition:
Do not let the Obama administration fool you with all their cunning Alinsky methods. And if you dont know what that method is, I implore you to get the book Rules for Radicals, by Saul Alinsky . Mr. Obama is very well trained in these methods, . . ..
Finally, for all the talk of the post-partisan, post-racial Enlightened One, Voight considers him essentially a common bully:
The real truth is that the Obama administration is professional at bullying, as we have witnessed with ACORN at work during the presidential campaign. It seems to me they are sending down their bullies to create fist fights among average American citizens who dont want a government-run health care plan forced upon them, Mr. Voight says. So I ask again. Is President Obama creating a civil war in our own country?
(These are particularly interesting comments in light of recent developments, including the Democrats turning special interest groups loose to threaten lawmakers who dont support a health care public option, and President Obamas own claims that the grass-roots town hall protests are the product of another vast Republican conspiracy.)
Excuse me while I consult the entertainment section for the location of the nearest Jon Voight film.
A friend just sent me this :
” I thought actors are supposed to ‘mind their own business’ because their opinions are no more valid than anyone else’s; they just have the ability to communicate to great numbers.
the rules change so often...hard to know what to believe....wearing me down “
Well ?
John McCain, George W. Bush....
That is absolutely correct and a pox on them and the filthy unwashed imbeciles who vote to return them to DC evry 2 years.
THAT DOES NOT PRECLUDE THE GOP FROM IDENTIFYING THESE SOCIALISTS AS SOCIALISTS AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY.
IT IS UNACCEPTABLE THAT MARXISTS ARE BRAZEN ENOUGH TO BAND TOGETHER OPENLY WITHOUT FEAR OF REPERCUSSION.
THE RNC GOP AND CONSERVATIVES NEED TO DO THEIR JOB AND WAGE WAR ON THE REDS.
I do too. A great actor. Unquestionably an American patriot.
Yes. I have noticed and I have the same feeling in my gut.
The Midnight Cowboy rides into Washington!
Mossberg pump, good value for the money, the poor man’s protector.
bttt
It’s more realist than defeatist, IMHO. And what makes you think I’m not helping in the ways that I can anyway???
Yep. I’ve noticed the same... Can’t say anything about MY reps. they don’t even dare to hold “listening sessions” here...
Hey! Larouche has ZERO credibility!! He’s a complete crackpot!!!
but he is coming out real strong against this whole obama medical. no death camps for US.
He is taking advantage, but we need everyone in the same court to stop the death sentences obama will give everyone over 65.
Well I guess I’m the last one who should complain about picky. :)
Might as well add that legislators will not be allowed to exempt themselves from the laws they pass, nor may their raises be automatic and dependent on a “no” vote to prevent.
And that the nation’s budget be managed in the black, recognising a finite amount of money in the hands of gov’t, so that expenditure in one area results in requisite tightening in another, just like any household budget.
I mean shoot if you’re gonna dream, dream big.
hell yeah, baby!
whole line of things on the christmas wishlist - balanced budget requirement, line item veto, restrictions on new bills being streamlined, avoid the legalese so that worms like schumer will stop living off our souls, abolishment of extra-Constitutional agencies powers which Congress has usurped for itself, such as DoEd, EPA...
Now, where’d I leave that Pipe I was smokin???

We must begin to play the exciting game without any rules.
You can make your own rules. You can make you own revolution. If you don't like it, make a new rule.
Maybe in real life.
LOL. Yeah.
