Democratic strategists say the Obama administration's evolving, abstract arguments for healthcare reform are backfiring and contributing to a decline in public support for the legislation.
The strategists, many of whom saw healthcare reform fail in the Clinton administration, contend that President Obama has advanced too many rationales for his plan, leaving people confused.
Conservative opponents of the overhaul increasingly use a simple, understandable message: Government-forced cost reductions will restrict treatments, imperiling the ill and elderly.

I can’t believe that Obama’s eunuchs in the lamestream “media” accuse us of spreading “myths” and “rumors” each time we bring up something that is actually in the bill.
Gee, what could it be that is turning us off to Zero's messages?
Sorry about the double post, browser froze up.
President Obama has advanced too many rationales for his plan, leaving people confused.

He still has a solid majority in the House and the Senate. There WILL be a health care bill before the end of this year and he and the DEMs will attempt to claim victory. With the help of the MSM, they just might get it.
His praising of FedEx and UPS while simultaneously deprecating the Postal Service was precious. He can't raise Social Security before 2013 because of his twenty trillion defecit, can't fund cash for clunkers past Monday.
This DeathCare is to die for, which explains why he and Congress won't use it, ever.
Wants us to fund abortions-on-demand and pay for twelve-to-twenty million Mexicans.
Wants to decide when we die when it took him six months to pick a puppy.
The guy's a punk, light in the loafers, kisses the Saudi King and spits on the Queen, the Pope, Israel and won't salute the flag.
I'm sensing hostility, a little arrogance, the emotional maturity of the high-chair fuhrer and the royal haughtiness of the boy-king of Kenya.
His popularity is paralleling the economy in a death spiral.
And it's unsettling, his pushing the stick with white-knuckled grip, chanting Ah-Choo Akbar!
I just heard that ABC won’t even let some anti-Obamacare advertising run!

I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow youre not patriotic!! We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration!--Hillary during Bush Administration
He’s going d o w n !! And he knows it. That’s why they will increase their behind the scenes campaign to destroy America.
He wants the country broke by the end of the year. Rush would have a feel day with this news story.
The lib media is blaming the message. LOL! The public is not stupid. It is not the message it is that he thought he could fool everyone.
I guess they think they can “nuance” the message or tell granny nicely that some illegal wants her soc security and medicare and that she needs to die NOW.
I am gettin “all we weed up” here. I better go to sleep now.
Heck, he doesn't even wait until the next day. His "stump speech" (because we all know he's still campaigning - it's all he knows) says you can keep your doctor and your insurance if you like them, and in THE NEXT BREATH, he says insurance companies and doctors are the problem and have to be "reformed." So which is it, Obozo? Keep them or reform them?
