Maxim Lott at Foxnews.com reported Monday that NBC Universal isnt just showing its love for Obama on the news airwaves:
If youre a fan of all things Obama, NBC Universals online store has no fewer than 29 options for your buying pleasure -- from a shirt with the presidents picture proclaiming YES WE DID"...to both of his books...to a special inauguration DVD...to a refrigerator magnet of the first couple.
And dont forget the Barack Obama Action Figure -- yours for $15, plus tax.
You can buy them online -- or at NBC Universals retail store in New York.
The items are promoted with pro-Obama lingo:
Bring reform to your refrigerator. Or at least keep company with the President while youre at work, with the Barack Obama Magnet, one item description reads.
From Yes We Can to Yes We Did! Celebrate Barack Obamas historic victory with the new Yes We Did Unisex T-Shirt, reads another.
Everybody’s cashing in on it.
Sucker born every minute.
Like the rest of NBC’s current lineup, the Obama Show is a bomb.
What’s the problem? I’m sure they used to sell a lot of George W. Bush memorabilia.
LOL! Of course it would be of ambiguous sexuality.....
They’re tripping on acid
I don’t see why this is a problem. Everyone knows that NBC is politically objective (at least in its news reporting), and I’m sure they had at least as many pro-Bush items for sale during his term.
Obama Senior Diapers for wee weeing?????????????
I’ll just assume you’re poor at satire. You may now crawl back under your rock!
Exactly. Just like when the gift shop at the National Archives carried every anti-Bush book ever written. I’m sure the NBC gift shop still has the “Bushed”, “Bush Lied and People Died” and “Bush is Hitler” t-shirts.
The NY Times has been selling hero shots of Obama ever since the election. They advertise the photos in their paper. It is all rather disgusting.
