Well, unlike the citizens of Germany we are armed. I know many who would rather Go to the light fighting than give in to an oppressive Government. The American spirit and tradition of rebellion may save us this time. - Maybe this time it is the South that will eventually hold this country together. What a historical irony that would be.

“we are armed”...for now! Bet taking firearms is the next thing after the healthcare takeover...he and his czars know their history just like we know ours. Gotta disarm us to further enact their desired socialist endstate. History is trying to repeat itself...
bump
Taking firearms would be one big mistake. I hope it never happens, but you never know...
I think that if you check your facts, you’ll find that he stood for a seat in the House of Lords in 1900 and won. sd
That hits the nail on the head and should scare anyone.
The MSM is his facilitator.
They won’t try to take firearms as long as they can get what they want without violence.
If you examine their actions, you’ll see an intentional provocation happening. They WANT someone to react violently, providing them an excuse to crack down and confiscate.
When that happens, we (and they) all know “It’s ON”.
I feel like I have read this before. Not the descriptions
of the circumstances, but the exact wording.
Same here...
They conveniently forget that, in 1933, Hitler hadn't yet murdered millions of innocent people.
But he was still Hitler, and those who opposed him were right.
The Germans of the time were in love with socialism, as taught by the Kaiser.
Americans are not - for the most part. Yeah, they'll take bennies, but even on the dole they like to believe they're rugged individualists.
The Germans had (and have) a much greater tendency to follow orders.
Americans are naturally rebellious.
Obummer bears watching, no bout a doubt it. But did you see everyday Americans getting in the face of their elected reps these past few weeks ? You ain't seen nothin' yet !! Brownshirts in America would start disappearing. It wouldn't be a healthy occupation.

I did check my facts.
Winston Churchill first ran as a Conservative for a seat in the House of Commons, not Lords, in a by-election for the Oldham constituency in 1899 and was defeated, stood again in 1900 for the same seat and was elected.
Subsequently Churchill served in various cabinet posts in different governments, running in different constituencies for different parties as political advantage dictated.
The composition of the British House of Lords is not determined by popular election.
The Lords is composed of appointed members with a small remaining number of hereditary peers.
I went back and checked. You are correct. I’m suitably red. sd
