Trust is like a china plate. If you break it half, you can glue it back together, but there will always be a visible line where the break was.
Obama’s biggest problem is people no longer trust him at his word anymore. They aren’t giving him the benefit of the doubt.

And this happened in 7 months! Stunning really. Also, to extend your metaphor, once the plate breaks, and if you get it glued back together in a reasonable fashion, and that’s a big IF, right, then it can break MUCH more easily in the future also.

I know what you’re referring to with Miller, but don’t understand how that’s a response to my post talking about Mark Simone and Obama’s “wee-wee’d up”.
I had said in the past that Obama was put on such a high pedastal that when he fell off it would be a real hard fall. I don’t know if this is “THE” fall but it sure looks like it. This may be their “Nixon” moment for the democratic party. Watch for the moment he falls out of favor with the DC insiders and that will be the end of his political career.
Yeah, good points..... I had only vaguely heard one or two of those terms before about 6 months ago, really wouldn’t have been able to explain them, and I *thought* I was fairly up on stuff...
Thank goodness the mask are coming off. To me the biggest thing is how brazenly our public servants are mocking us, and how rude they are. Before, they could hide and sneer at us behind closed doors. I saw a lot of that in the amnesty wars. But now they’re talking back to the commoners publicly! Yelling at them when they’re not on their phones or looking at their watches.

Nice. I’ve heard liberals say that racism has to do with power and prejudice. Well, now they’ve got the most powerful office in the world and look what he’s up to. So how is what he’s doing and saying (recall Cambridge) not racist - now that he’s got power and the bully pulpit?
Yet, when we dare to state that truth - like Glenn Beck - the liberals howl like the wolves they are.
They are not interested in the truth. When they’re in the minority they pretend that they’re all about justice and fairness and equality. Now that they’re in power, we see what they’re really about.
And it’s not the truth, justice, fairness, equality. Even if they truly may have believed it was at one distant point in their past thinking.
It’s about manipulation and patronization (or should we say matronization?) It’s about RAW power and ‘I’m morally superior too you.’
It’s about socialism/communism at all costs - despite their historic travesties.

My guess is that, as usual, a great percentage of Americans were not paying close attention. Since very little of The Great Spreader's agenda was disseminated by Big Media before the election, the casual American (Freepers are not casual) pays very little attention to the world outside their little bubble. All this hubbub concerning ObamaCare is probably the first time millions knew about Obama's radical leftism. And they don't like it. Too bad they didn't pay closer attention in November.

But participants in the poll have to qualify themselves, it’s not like going to some site and simply clicking your preference and leaving.
