Well the way I read the article is she knows the liberals will jumop ship withut the PO, throw in 98% of the republicans and a landslide of Blue Dogs and you got a 100-335 rout. It will lose also with the PO. Bad and worse they have boxed themselves into.

This is already a done (back room) deal. House bill is the fascistic piece of crap we’ve seen on the web. Senate will pass a “moderate” bill. Then, in conference, Pelosi gets everything she wants again and it’s rammed down our throats.

As always, these jerks make up cutesy names for the common sense GOVERNMENT RUN SOCIALIST SYSTEM. Gotta refer to "it" as "the Public Option", which in effect is NO OPTION; it's State-Run Medical System, period.
Between all the terms they coin to avoid calling things by the common names/descriptors, they fool only their voterbase (which is the great un-washed, minorities, and criminals).
The battle lines are drawn now, between the freedoms of the Constitution, or the programs the socialists are shoving up our a$$e$ because they are currently the Majority in both Houses, and can't be stoppded.

If the idea is make Insurance reduce their profits; why don’t they open up public options for every type industry, retail store, and service in the US. Better yet, why not let the government take over everything so no one makes a profit....

No public option, no bill? No bill it is.
Instead:
What if we suggested that individual senators and congresscritters could sign up truly needy constituents onto the congress’ health care plan? They get to pick who truly needs this and they simply add them to the congressional tab.
We cover all the needy people the congress is willing to take responsibility for publicly, we save over a trillion dollars I would think.
Then the second step is to implement all the waste reduction and savings they constantly say are possible. Can’t they do this without spending a bunch of money? If they know there’s waste then go after it and, with all the money they save - and ONLY with the money they save - can they start spending on other things they’d like to have.

Pelosi told reporters that a public option will "keep insurance companies honest." Next we will have to have government home insurance, government life insurance, and government car insurance to keep all those companies honest.
To: BigBobber
This gang claiming to keep anyone honest is a joke.

If the keystone cops can't even make simple “Cash for Clunkers” payments, I dread to think how complicated health-care payments might work.
