400 Hotel Rooms Booked by White House for Obama Visit to Montana (Marxist Pig Alert)

The White House booked 400 (FOUR HUNDRED) hotel rooms at the Big Sky Resort for Barack Obama's overnight visit last week for a town hall meeting in nearby Bozeman, Montana. Two floors were completely taken over, including the penthouse suites.

While the national news media is ignoring the story, local media let the news slip in their gushing stories of how thrilling it was to have Obama in their midst.

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reported on Tuesday on Obama's visit, quoting Big Sky Resort spokesman Dax Schieffer:

The First Family stayed in one of the eight penthouses on the tenth floor of Big Sky Resort’s Summit Hotel on Friday night, said resort spokesman Dax Schieffer. The entire tenth and ninth floor were reserved for the Obamas and family as well as White House and Secret Service staff.

“All in all we had about 400 people as part of the group,” Schieffer said.

NewWest.net spoke with Big Sky Resort general manager Taylor Middleton for an article published Sunday:

“We ultimately had 400 rooms reserved,” said Middleton, noting that there were various entities within the Presidential entourage - security, press, admin staff, culinary staff - and their arrangements were “somewhat coordinated and somewhat uncoordinated.”

From Montana, Obama and his entourage went on to Boulder, Colorado on Saturday for another town hall and then flew to Phoenix, Arizona Saturday night for a speech to the VFW convention on Monday. Obama and entourage stayed at The Phoenician which describes itself as "Your Premier Luxury Destination". There are no apparent media reports on how many rooms the White House took at the Phoenician, but it would seem that 400 rooms would be consistent with the trip.

Obama and his family took time for various sightseeing and recreational activities on their Western tour.

Obama is scheduled to vacation next week at the 28.5 acre Blue Heron Farm in Martha's Vineyard.

The Vineyard Gazette reports weekly rentals for comparable properties run from $35,000 to $50,000.

There is no word yet on how many rooms will be rented by the White House for staff staying on Martha's Vineyard with Obama.

I believe you have reason to be chilled, my friend. Obama has plans to make our country over into what he thinks it should be—a gravy train for those he believes were slighted and pushed aside. He has plans for reparations, Obama-style.

We all have reason to fear. Tonite on Fox News it was disclosed that NBC has a company store which is selling Obama t-shirts, hats, etc—they are in his pocket. Whatever happened to our investigative reporters? I’m beginning to think he’s the 21st Century version of the Pied Piper.

Oh sure, that explains all the luxurious digs he, his family and all his entourage travel to and it most certainly, most definitely explains all the Wednesday night parties with the Kobi beef, Maine lobsters, $$$$ cavier, Dom Perignon, etc., etc., doesn't it?

Actually I don't think obama gives a flying flip about anyone for empathy's sake, period...this is all being done to set up permanently his core base that will keep him and his minions in power from now on!

If this all goes as this dictator is trying to get it to go, I truly believe he plans on becoming just that, a dictator for life!...marshall law will have to be enforced for some manufactured reason and for the good of the country, the laws will all be changed so that he can continue to rule.

Think that's just a crazy woman's theory? Just think about what he has tried to do to this country and the common folk in these 7 months he has been in office.

It is very difficult for the SS to keep up with all the traveling and communities he had traveled to. We had a local man who was SS assigned to the WH for a couple of presidents. It takes weeks of preparation. BO isn’t giving them enough time to prepare. ANd he’s either fired or others have left.

Notice the use of swat teams in Georgia a few weeks ago. They were not the regular SS agents. Not enough SS agents. Will he hire the black panthers next?

Saw an article that said SS was getting as many as fifty threats a day...Too many to investigate throughly. Bound to make him paranoid. tic tic tic.

I agree, he is either pretending to know what the dickens he is doing and how he is to behave or his arrogance is beyond anything I have ever seen.

Michelle isn’t as good of an actor as the nose in the air husband of hers but she seems to be enjoying the tour of the world pretty well herself.
