O’Reilly, on his 19 Aug Factor, chided ultra-rightwingers (presumably Limbaugh, Hannity etc.) for never mentioning anything that Obama does right. Presumably this failure betrays a lack of fairness or credibility. Ordinarily I might sympathize with Bill, but it’s wrongheaded in this extreme case. There is some good even in the worst of us, but in the VERY WORST of humanity, defending Bill's sentiment starts feeling a little silly. Even Hitler is said to have loved children. Stalin probably loved his dog. When a politician kisses a baby, should we necessarily brag on him for his compassionate love of children?
A man’s overarching motives are shown by his track record, and when that track record is as revealing as Obama’s, it becomes appropriate to broadly judge his motives. Even when his acts seem appropriate it is only because it fits his private agenda—in this case, Kenynsian socialism. It is not “right-wing extremism” to point this out. Outside the DC Beltway we call it "common sense."

Not that I’ve noticed. Well, he DID say FedEx and UPS are more efficient than the USPS. Other than that, he’s been wrong about everything else and, so far, a miserable failure.
Nobody talks about Afghanistan, but did he even give that any thought? Half assed and pointless effort to “show the flag”, I guess.
The only thing Obama seems to be good at is hiding his record of failures from the general public.
No. But when he does do something right we’ll give him credit for it. He’s shown no indication of doing such but he is welcome to start anytime.
O’Reilly is still mesmerized/tainted from the interview he did with Barry. Quite frankly, the man has not been the same.

Mr. Arrogant stated that if Sarah Palin didn’t come on his show during the campaign, then she and McCain would lose. I think he also takes credit for something that happened in France. No wonder he stands up for obama. They have matching egos.
Zer0bama has done one thing right, he had a brewski placed in front of him on the WhiteHouse lawn, sitting with three people he doesn’t give a rats ass about, while putting his communist agenda on hold for 30 minutes.
That’s as close as it gets to doing anything right.
it is true that when it comes to afghanistan/pakistan, he’s not exactly holding flowers and singing kumbaya. He’s sending more troops and predators to actually kill the taliban. Targeted assasinations. And he’s not just doing it for popularity because he’s not getting much support from the rest of the world and it seems americans are also quite tired of afghanistan.
Is this the same Bill O’Reilly who sexually harasses his staffers and brags to them about his personal use of vibrators?
Well, I’ve got to admit. He has a terrific knack for raising campaign donations from people ALL OVER THE WORLD. He’s good a sending out spam emails also.
Motives matter. If the motive is wrong, it soils the entire act.
And we want to expose and document his failures, so we can he what a fool he was.
There was the time he wrote an excuse for missing school for the daughter of one his minions, er, myrmidons, er, supporters when brought her to a town hall during school hours. I thought that was pretty classy.
That’s about the only “classy” thing I can recall him doing...
O’Reilly quit his “right-wing” radio program a few months ago. Now I understand why he did, so he can be free to criticize the right wing radio hosts.
Bill O’Reilly is an opportunist. Nothing more, nothing less.
