Push Poll: technique in which an individual or organization attempts to influence or alter the view of respondents under the guise of conducting a poll.
By that definition, it sure seems that NBC is push polling on behalf of ObamaCare. On this morning's Today, NBC News Political Director and Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd reported on a new NBC poll that reflected the fact that, according to him, many Americans continue to believe "the myths" about ObamaCare. But Todd reported that the NBC pollsters also gave people "the facts" about ObamaCare. And after hearing those "facts," a majority supported the plan. Sounds like classic push polling.
And what were those "myths" that NBC supposedly busted? That ObamaCare:

No doubt they’re polling the NBC gift shop patrons.
The NBC organization is nothing more than A Socialist PR firm.

I caught that this morning.
I don’t know if it’s just my perception, or has Chuck Todd gone further in the tank for Obama lately?
Todd used to almost pretend to be a reporter. Now, every time I see him, it seems Chuck Todd is auditioning for Robert Gibb’s job.
Right down to where Todd was almost gleeful in saying that Obama doesn’t need 60 senators for the vote, referring to reconciliation.
Last year, I went one step further. Had been holding onto my GE Stock when I worked for them (before being sold off in the early 1990's). Decided to sell off all of the GE stock in my 401(k) and invest it somewhere else. Good timing on my part. Sold the GE stock for around $34 a share. Currently sits at $13.50 a share.
GE has been the largest lobbiest company for the past couple of years. It’s not by accident they have been selected to create Obama’s windmill farms.

Don’t watch, support 30 Rock and NBC - it’s their poster child for liberal utopia. They LOVE and constantly tout that it got 22 Emmies (that’s like your mother giving you the MVP for little league, even though you sat on the bench). What a joke. YUCK.

There simply isn’t the votes in the House for it, the bill is a zombie, dead but still walking around. If Pelosi had the votes don’t you think she would call Congress back to vote on it. What the Dems are doing now is trying to stem the hemmorging for 2010 and somehow box the Republicans into being the guys in the black hats.

I saw it too, and was gobsmacked. But thank goodness NBC was able to give Americans the “facts” on ObamaCare to dispell the myths of the evil-mongers. And then take a poll.
