Numerous reasons to oppose the ludicrous Obama health care plan aside, Yael T. Abouhalkah of the Kansas City Star has cut through to the real reason for dissent - Americans are ignorant.
While Abouhalkah will undoubtedly argue that the message was meant to apply merely to the aspect of health care knowledge, he is quite unsuccessful at holding back his overall disdain for the way American’s have responded to the plan.
The title of his most recent blog post says it all. In referring to an NBC poll about the health care plan, one in which MSNBC titles Doubts About Obama’s Plans, Abouhalkah titles his post - Poll: Ignorance abounds among Americans on health care plan.
The message? If you’re not down with the President’s plan, then you can only be classified as ignorant.

I know what has happened in all the Country’s that have gone the Government Controlled Health Care route.
All you need to do is speak with any of those Country’s citizens that out of their own pockets pay to come to America for health care, that they are denied in their own Countrys.
I am not ignorant of the principles on which this Nation was founded, though it seems that the President and many in Congress are. Certainly the Press, that benefits most from those principals, seem very ignorant of them.

We will see who is “ignorant” in the next elections, when these scenes at town hall meetings are used against the Democrats who totally ignore their constituents.

I am ignorant of any government run health care plan, anwhere in the world that rivals the performance of health care delivery in the United States, the best health care system in the world.
I am ignorant of any goverment agency that performs well enough to be the model for an effective government run health care system.
I am ignorant of any government program that is truly cost effective while delivering the broad based product necessary to satisfy the public demand. There are some goverment run programs which are cost effective becasue they are highly restrictive in the product they deliver and the goals they achieve.
I am ignorant of a government program that has actually met the cost goals it was established on. Most exceed them by factors or 10 or more.
I am ignorant of any function outside of law enforcement and national defense that works better under a socialist approach than free market capitalism.
Yes, I am ignorant. Thank God that I am. It is the source of my informed choice to oppose government run health care.
Abouhalka says ‘ignorant’ instead of saying stupid. Both are insulting and typical of what is usually printed in the KC Star by the likes of him. He’s the perfect poster child for a failing newspaper. A dirty looking semiliterate miscreant with a computer that lives on rotten fish and spoiled milk and exhibits a total lack of toilet training.

Do you know what the biggest punishment for these elitists would be?
The inability to impose their will on others.
State sovereignty/secession would make them totally irrelevant. That would be more punishment for them than any criminal or civil court could impose on them.
We now have a right to enslave our neighbors to pay for our medical care.
