Sarah Palin can grab voters' attention whenever she wants, but they're not ready to put her in the White House – not by a long shot.
If the 2012 presidential election were held today, and Palin was the GOP candidate, she’d get wiped out by President Obama, a new Marist poll showed Tuesday.
Only 33% of registered voters would go for Palin compared to Obama’s 56%, with 11% undecided.
Obama would pull in 92% of Democrats and Palin would get 73% of Republicans.
The President would clean Palin’s clock among amost all voting groups.
Independents would go 49% to 34% for Obama, according to the poll of 854 registered voters with a margin of error of 3.5%.
Men went for Obama 54% to 36% and women by a wider margin: 58% to 30%.
Whites favored Obama 50% to 40%, African-Americans by 99% to 1%, and Latinos 62% to 27%.
The only region where Palin held Obama under 50% was the South -- where Obama had 49% to 38% margin.
Especially at the low point that we knew the necessary resignation would cause.
Now that she is able to move freely in the lower 48 I think that we can see her numbers go back to number one.

In January 1980 Gallup poll gave Carter 62-33 vs Reagan.
In November Reagon won 50.7%-Carter: 41.0%
These “push polls” want to bury Palin so she doesn’t get on the radar screen. The Left and the RINOS know they are in trouble if Palin decides to run.

When Communists are running scared, they turn to Marist to create an alternate reality where their candidate is always winning.
Marist has been around for years. Their accuracy is greatly wanting.
Rasmussen has consistently been the closest in its electoral predictions election after election compared to ALL other pollsters.

I have thought for a long time at Palin is totally unelectable, would be lucky to win WY and AK.
