LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Wildfire investigators in California are looking for marijuana growers tied to a Mexican drug cartel whom they suspect ignited a blaze that has charred more than 87,000 acres of a national forest.
The La Brea Fire, which erupted August 8 in the Los Padres National Forest in the remote Santa Barbara County mountains northwest of Los Angeles, is believed to be the first major wildfire in the state caused by drug traffickers, U.S. Forest Service spokesman Jim Turner said on Monday.
A joint statement issued Saturday night by the Santa Barbara County sheriff's office and the Forest Service said the blaze was sparked by a "cooking fire in a marijuana drug trafficking operation ... believed to be run by a Mexican national drug organization."

No problem. Just open the borders and get rid of border patrol. What the hell.....they aren’t doing anything anyway and Washington wants them to come in. In fact, give them all a free ticket to Washington and free housing in DC.

Apparently they did not set the fire as an act of terrorism but because they were cooking pot (don’t get that at all) and are so stupid they can’t control a small cooking fire.
Why should the drug dealers bother with the border when they can grow their crop in the US. That way they don’t have to do any smuggling cause it’s already right here.
Well, this is NOT the first one they set. One was set very near our house by the Mexican drug cartel, using equipment improperly.
There have probably been quite a few set by the pot set.

Finally some media is picking it up. CBS mentioned the fire started in a marijuana grow, but of course failed to mention it was caused by international organized crime rings out of Mexico.

A young man died because of Mexican drug cartels yesterday.
BAKER CITY, Ore. - A U.S. Forest Service employee is dead after being struck by a falling tree as he helped clean up a marijuana growing operation in eastern Oregon.
Forest Service workers and members of the Baker County Narcotics Team were removing a marijuana garden in the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest southwest of Unity when the dead tree toppled and hit the man Thursday morning.
The Oregonian reports that the death is being investigated by federal, state and local authorities.[snip]
