You will notice that there is NO 11th district listed.
Heath Shuler does not allow questions. Heath Shuler never has debated an oppponent. Heath Shuler voted for Cap and Trade against the wishes of the voters.
Heath Shuler is Pelosi’s lap dog.

Shuler did debate Mumpower last year, on Matt Mittan's radio program. Probably after he realized what a horrible, scatter-brained candidate Mumpower was proving to be.

My understanding is that Shuler has held constituent meetings on the issue and that he has pledged to vote Nay on the current bill, at least.

A radio show?
He never did a debate with Charles Taylor. He ran out of townhall meetings like a little girl...and he voted for cap and trade. He does not answer questions.

He is hardly a bluedog..more like a yellow dog.

HE NEEDS TO BE OUSTED ASAP

Shuler ignores the people of western NC time and again.
FRUSTRATED citizens visit Shuler’s office (he disregards the people)

Washington wants to hand North Carolina a huge new tax bill. The “cap-and-trade” scheme at the core of the energy tax bill recently passed by the U.S. House of Representatives would have an enormous negative impact on the state.

An analysis by the Heritage Foundation showed that the House-passed Waxman-Markey bill would cost North Carolina’s 11th district 61,152 jobs and decrease household incomes by $5,614 by 2030. Congressman Heath Shuler voted for this bill, but for the sake of their state, Senators Richard Burr and Kay Hagen need to vote against it.
The cap-and-trade scheme is a huge new tax in disguise – a tax on energy that will drive up the price of nearly everything in the country. Take President Obama’s own word for it. He told the San Francisco Chronicle last year: “Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”
His plan to auction off allowances for the use of fossil fuels is essentially an energy tax where nobody knows the tax rate in advance. Companies bid against each other at a government-run auction, and the company that loses the auction gets shut down by the EPA – so it’s high-stakes.
Unfortunately, this idea went from bad to worse in the House. Instead of auctioning the permits, most of them will be given away based on political considerations – that’s how they got enough votes to squeak the bill through on a 219-212 vote.

I’m not defending him at all, just saying that Mumpower gave Shuler a huge pass last year, and technically he has debated.

Yes, Shuler is certainly a know-nothing weasel who does the bidding of Pelosi as much he thinks his constituents will allow, and I hope he gets tossed over cap and trade.

I have seen videos of Shuler RUNNING out of townhall meetings (during the last election). He is a coward....no blue dog, but a yellow belly

I also recall him RUNNING out of town when Obama came to Asheville. He talks one way when he is here...and another way when he is in DC. The guy is a complete dolt and Pelosi’s little pet.
