What constitutes "hateful speech?" It depends on the views of the individual, or in this case the advocacy group propagating the claim.
Earlier this week, Plymouth, Wisc.-based Sargento Food, Inc., along with several other companies, pulled their advertising from the Fox News Channel's "Glenn Beck" program at the behest of a campaign by Color of Change, an advocacy group.

like buying cheese from these people is something I will have to do at some point - not. There are, in fact, only a small number of products/services I cannot do without. I do not support companies appeasing national socialists, caving in to fascists or just plain old communist supporters.
That’s a pretty broad definition.
I prefer
Hate speech: Telling the truth about a liberal.
Cheese.
Buy Tillamook Cheese and support one of the last businesses still standing in Oregon. :D
Suggestion taken. Here is my e-mail.
Re: Glenn Beck.
I will not buy from a company that attempts to suppress legitimate political speech. There is evidence to support Glenn Beck’s point of view. He is entitled to it.
Your cheese is good, but not irreplaceable.
Maby cuz yeware drunk.
;-)
Don’t feed cheese to a dog - it’ll plug him up or do the opposite.
Either way, YOU will be the one to suffer for it, unless it’s not your dog.
>>Maybe others.<<
That is the part I mean. I would like him to post and discuss a comprehensive list and make it a “daily” talking point. Sort of a “advertiser boycott watchlist countdown”. It could be fun and a great shtick..
And risky.
But I firmly believe it could blossom into something HUGE and in Beck’s favor.
No more Sargento for me!
“I say pour it on Freepers.”
I did, and explained exactly why.
No one has violated the free speech of David Letterman or Glenn Beck.
If, as Newsmax and others are reporting today this is indeed being orchestrated by the WH, then I think you are incorrect in your assumption or do you approve of the WH twisting the arms of advertisers to shut up someone who is taking exception to what they are trying to do and are doing to this country?
Most definitely
Good for you. What was their reaction?
Cheese, somewhere between cheez-whiz and real cheese at prices that rival quality cheeses. I go to a cheese monger and pay just a little more for him to slice the exact amount I need off huge blocks. The good stuff actually goes farther, you don’t need to use as much because it is loaded with flavor.
I called and spoke to a real person and told them the same, I would not be buying their products anymore.

Sargento Politcal Contributions
As corporate donors they contributed alnost twice as much to Repubs as Dems in the 2008 election.
The issue of Babara Gannon calling it hateful speech can be addressed without necessarily calling for a boycott.
Remember Carnation’s decision after they bought Snapple to pull its ads from Rush ? Worked out really well for them. Not.
I did similar. I reminded them that while they were within their rights to abandon advertizing with someone with which they did not agree, I was within my right to avoid buying cheese from a company with which I did not agree. I also noted, in case they weren't too bright, that they were one such company.
The President himself cannot pressure the advertisers however, the president’s supporters are free to apply pressure to the Beck advertisers.
And as far as I can tell, the President who holds a public office, has not many any statements against Beck.
