@ 8:23 am by Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) praised a Senate committee's decision to drop an end-of-life provision from its healthcare reform bill, but continued to pound away at the overall bill especially a proposal by Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel.
"It's gratifying that the voice of the people is getting through to Congress," Palin said in a new note on her Facebook page posted early Friday morning of the Senate Finance Committee's decision to drop end-of-life consultations from its health bill. (The Alaska politician had derided those consultations as "death panels" seeking to aid the euthanasia of the elderly.)
"However, that provision was not the only disturbing detail in this legislation; it was just one of the more obvious ones," Palin added.
Palin alleged that Emanuel, a White House healthcare adviser and brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, would advocate a "Complete Lives System," which "if enacted, would refuse to allocate medical resources to the elderly, the infirm, and the disabled who have less economic potential."
President Obama's silence on the Complete Lives System is troubling, the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate asserted, and called on the president to answer questions about the theory.
"Why the silence from the president on this aspect of his nationalization of health care? Does he agree with the 'Complete Lives System'?" Palin asked. "If not, then why is Dr. Emanuel his policy advisor? What is he advising the president on?"
The note marks the latest in a series of attacks Palin has launched on the president's heatlhcare reform proposals, and signals that while the conservative Republican had managed a small political victory over end-of-life care, she would continue to hammer away against Obama.
"We must stop and think or we may find ourselves losing even more of our freedoms," she wrote.
Is there a link for “Complete Lives System”?
I cannot believe I am saying this, but it makes me wish, in a very 'uneasy way' that something would happen in Ezekiel's life or the life of someone he holds dear. (He must be very self loathing. Although it is possible he is alone, isolated and mentally ill to be so callous and lacking in empathy and compassion. Not unlike a serial killer or the men who gleefully filled out Hitler's euthanasia and experimental horrors in the medical arena.)
If something happened in Ezekiel's life that caused him to rethink the value of life, not in terms of COST EFFECTIVENESS (like he does, isn't that SICK?) but in terms of desire to survive, whether fitting a 'productive to society' bill or not, maybe he would change his absolutely HORRIFYING STANCE on what he wants to level upon this nation.
Oh my gosh....I thought it was TWO year olds.
Indeed - she’s nailing obama and his chicago thugs big time !
Posted for all the world to see - I’ve tweeted the SP link to 100s of fellow conservatives - spread the word!
not aware of one. but it will out.
Ezekiel Emanuel advocated DEATH PANELS -—THIS YEAR

Palin’s fantastic. I got the tip-off from Sarah’s page. I’m a Jindal guy, but Sarah is playing with my affections!
I would trust a PROLIFE Palin government more than I would ever trust PRODEATH Obama.
Obama is in favor of allowing children to die, without treatment, if they survive an abortion attempt.
Make no mistake, if you have a stroke or are paralyzed somehow, Obama will bump you off, as well!
Jindal’s a big talent, but I don’t think the presidency is his thing. First, there’s the charisma issue and second, there’s the natural born issue. And, he’s still in his 30’s—half a generation behind Palin and half a generation away. When he’s done with the governorship, I’d like to see him in the Senate, where he could probably be a leader for 30 years.
Moving to GA I encountered FAR MORE Down's Syndrome children than in NY. I mean orders-of-magnitude more. The two cultures do not share the same view of where one fits in a "complete lives system".
BTTT
It is the individuals living will. You can fill out the one from the agency or one from the lawyer.
You can say I want my life prolonged as long as possible or you can say I don't want my life needlessly prolonged.
But both will contain that word "limits"
Not a very effective troll, but still a left wing liberal nut troll.
However, for those who are not up to speed, on this issue, let us begin at the BEGINNING!
Zeke Emanuel is in CHARGE of health care “reform” in the White House.
Zeke Emanuel has written, extensively, on his ideas concerning the denial of care to the elderly and to the disabled.
This, combined with MANDATORY “end of life” counseling, from the Feds, is very disturbing.
Think of it this way:
What would you think of a health insurance company which tried to cut the cost of claims by encouraging “DNR” or “do not resuscitate” orders? What would you think of a health insurance company that sent out living wills and final directives, to its insured members?
The problem here?
CONFLICT OF INTEREST! The insurance companies have a financial stake in wishing for the early death of the unhealthy!
The SAME conflict of interest exists, when the GOVERNMENT Does this!
It is despicable.
YOU are also despicable.
And I can read the official Alaskan living will on the internet.
You don't want to read such documents because they contradict what you want to believe.
good point
Their parents must be very proud.
Written as though by a sharpshooter.
If health insurance companies encouraged DNR orders, from their clients, liberals would tar and feather those insurance companies. It is a conflict of interest.
It would be a conflict of interest for any of the 50 State Insurance Commissioners to sell insurance, part time.
It would be a conflict of interest for any attorney to represent BOTH sides, of a legal case.
And, it is a conflict of interest for those who want COMPLETE control of the health care system to force NOT ONLY the “end of life” directives and living well documents, but to also MANDATE counseling in those areas, to terminally ill and elderly people.
To be a neutral source of information is one thing.
To be an advocate for death is another.
Obama is an advocate for death.
You, also, are an advocate for death.
To be a neutral source of information is one thing.
I knew in my gut it was wrong, but my mind, my intellect wasn't giving me the words to express why. Conflict of interest, of course, thank you for making this post. Exactly the right way to put the situation.
I used to work in the Loan Service Department of a financial institution, my particular job was to ensure every mortgage had sufficient fire insurance in force. Several times I had people request I recommend an insurance company, they did not understand why I could not do so, conflict of interest. "How so?" Because my company is requiring you to carry the insurance, it would not be ethical for me to promote one or another company over the rest, you see? "No, I don't understand the problem." Sorry, please inquire of your relatives or friends, the Better Business Bureau, I am not able to assist you.
As you say, I was not a neutral party, neither would the government bureaucrats/appointees if we do create a socialized medicine system. Again, thank you for the mind-prompt.
And if you consider that those who are younger don't have living wills, then a very high percentage of older Americans have living wills.
And all lawyers will tell you that the Terry Schiavo affair motivated many to get a living will.
Essentially every state has living wills available. You can get them at the legal document websites. If you go to a lawyer for a will or trust, he will suggest you get a living will.
Or, if you want to, you can opt out and hope God intervenes to give you immortality. Which the fundamentalists do.
