In town hall meetings billed as opportunities for Americans to ask health care questions of an "open" and "transparent" administration, the White House may be selecting President Obama's own supporters to ask non-compromising questions.
The White House insists that attendees are selected at random, but a closer look reveals many questioners range from Obama campaign donors and Organizing for America volunteers to single-payer health care lobbyists and Service Employees International Union members.

The blogosphere is still on fire with stories about possible "plants" at an Aug. 11 Portsmouth, N.H., health care town hall.
An adoring audience member shouted, "We love you!"
"I love you back!" Obama declared.
After the president's speech, members of the audience chanted, "Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can!"
Just before taking questions from the attendees, Obama said, "If you have a question just raise your hand. There are people with microphones in the audience. I am going to try to go girl-boy-girl-boy, to make sure it's fair."

However, Smith never mentioned that she is a volunteer for Organizing for America, Obama's political operation within the Democratic National Committee. USA Today revealed that she received her ticket to the event from the White House.

It is up to the voters to remember this anxiety. All (D) goes away. Their agenda is quite clear.

Teh oen I attended was about 80-20 in opposition to Obamacare.
That’s the point.
20 % in favor and 19% of them are plants.
Plants? No just grassroots activists — all in their union shirts.
We had 4/5 of the room despite their efforts to plant their people. And at least a 2-1 edge in the demonstrations outside.
Obama lies, Granny dies.

It looks like Dan Riehl was on to something.
CNN did an awful lot of pre-planning before last night's Las Vegas production.
Maria Luisa, (pictured) the UNLV student who asked Hillary Clinton whether she preferred "diamonds or pearls" last night, wrote on her MySpace page today that every question in last night's debate was pre-planned and censored.
The Atlantic reported:
Well, it wasn't the first time that CNN pulled this trick at a Democratic debate.
Matt Lewis at Townhall thinks that Hillary has her best friend... and he's not talking about jewelry.
UPDATE: Glenn Reynolds has several CNN updates.
Classical Values reports on CNN debate plant Khalid Khan.
Dan Riehl discovers Clinton-friendly debate plant and Arkansas democratic party leader LaShannon Spencer.

Dan Riehl also discovers why the crowd was so Clinton-friendly.

"damned if the Dems haven't managed to turn America into one huge soap opera..."
How kindergarten-ish. Nut again, that's right on a liberal's level.
Unless they were seated like that at the “Obamapalooza BS tour” then I’m sure he would have screwed it up.
to me that is not only playin to the tv, but a big F U to sane people that are actually paying attention...
This is an outstanding piece by WND.
23 Simple rules for Town Hall meetings by which elected officials should abide if they want to minimize unruly behavior:
(1) Come to the meeting with a truly open mind.
(2) Actually read than current version of the bill.
(3) Dont lie or mislead about the contents of the bill since many in the audience have, in fact, read it.
(4) Realize that much of the anger is due to President Obama and your party in congress tying to ram this bill through with virtually no external review by the public. Accept that fact; you caused it, not us. That act alone caused our side to view your side as trying to hide something.
(5) Understand that this is a significant change in public policy. Like it was said, Pres Obama spent more time selecting a dog for his kids that Congress initially allowed for this to be reviewed.
(6) Dont lie or mislead about the bill (repeat).
(7) Dont claim that the President or anyone else has a particular position when there is recorded statements by that person(s) to the contrary. You come off as lying when you do or you are lying.
(8) Understand that talk doesnt seem to work with you all (citizens talking to you). You are not listening. Thats why people get angry and scream to you.
(9) Either you or your party must quit calling your electorate extremists, Nazis, mobs and so on. And for Gods sake, dont scold your audience. Have you lost your flippin minds. We elect you; not the other way around.
(10) Dont imply or call us racists. Its just not so. And if you think we are then you probably need help, really.
(11) We are not all part of a vast, organized right-wing movement. The overwhelming majority are individuals who are fed up with the direction the country is taking. You may pretend otherwise but you will discover youre wrong that this, also.
(12) The telephone town halls are bullshit and just a way for you to hide from the public. Come out and take your bumps like a man/woman. Youre pushing this crap. At least be person enough to take the heat.
(13) Just admit that health care quality will go down under your plan, especially for senior citizens. If you dont believe that youre either too stupid to represent your voters or youre lying.
(14) Just admit that its going to cost more and youll be raising taxes. Realize that taxing the rich cant pay for all of this.
(15) Stop trying to cover illegal aliens when thats only going to add to the cost. You cant claim to be trying to reduce costs while your adding groups that will add significantly to the cost.
(16) There is no right to healthcare for anyone. If you can find that in the US Constitution bring the quote, but its not there and you know it. Dont insult our intelligence that its there. Just because you say its a right doesnt make it so.
(17) Accept the fact that by covering the poor you are enslaving the masses to work for the government to pay for them. It we fail to pay our taxes to fund this stuff well be in jail and our property confiscated because you make up a claimed right.
(18) Dont come and lie to us.
(19) Dont stack the deck with your supporters and think nobody is watching. Slipping your people into a meeting in advance when everybody else has to wait in line is a fraud and you know it. And we know it. But, many of you dont seem to care. You think youre getting away with it, and to the media you might be. But to us, we know... we know.
(20) Tell your union buddies that bringing out the thugs is not going to calm things down.
(21) Try to, at least, occasionally consider the limits of the government as defined by our own US Constitition. Actually read the Constitution once in a while and realize the limits it placed on YOU and your associates. You may not read it or care whet it says by many of us out here do.
(22) Finally, try to remember that this is OUR money and not yours. We worked for it and WE should get to decide where and how to spend it. Not YOU!
And the newest addition...
(23) Don’t use fakes and frauds and think you’ll get away with it.
