Below is an email forwarded to The Republican Project today. Apparently MoveOn.org plans to decend upon Senator Snowe's office in Auburn tomorrow (Aug 13).
The following is from the MoveOn email:
Location: Senator Snowe's Office - 2 Great Falls Plaza, Auburn
Here's the description provided by the event host:
At noon, we will meet at 2 Great Falls Plaza in Auburn and pass out flyers encouraging people to contact Senator Snowe and let her know that she needs to support a strong Public Option.
We will meet in the lobby of the building at noon. I will bring all the flyers. I will have two large signs, making it easy to find me!

We won't be able to be there but we'll be faxing the office at the noon hour.

Well, it’s good to know that they aren’t an organized group (/sarc off).
I wonder how many they can muster from the local gutters, with all the global warming, Maine has been very cold this summer, meaning it's likely the gutter dwellers have moved further south.
Screw her and Collins. They’re more liberal than some Democrats. I know a few people just across the border who call them, “Obama’s Comfort Girls.”
Let’s see, one group with have professionally printed signs. The other will have hand made signs. Wonder which is which?
Not sure why MoveOn is protesting Snowe. She’s doing everything she can to save Obama’s pet legislation (this and others).
No Astroturfing there.
I bet they’ve arranged a permit so that countreprotstors CAN’T show up. This would be typical of open-minded, tolerant liberals.
Yep.
You have to outnumber this bunch.
Don’t know why they are bothering. This Slit nose, sleeps with the enemy, whore, has already sold her butt to them, and betrayed everything she said she believes in, time and time again. Just get the price right.
Can’t say as I disagree. She and Collins seem to be only useful for bringing in some money to the state but at the expense of selling out the country. They both need to be retired.
well as a Maine native, and back here after many years away in the Navy, I’m going to do my best to help launch them in the next cycle :)
