JEALOUS HUBBY SOUGHT IN DRIVE-BY
BY RICHARD WEIR DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

A jealous husband who saw his wife riding in another man's Mercedes opened fire on the car, wounding the driver and causing him to crash into a Bronx restaurant, police said. Police last night were searching for the suspected shooter, Arber Mustafaj, 27. Cops said he was driving his car about 7:30 p.m. yesterday when he spotted his wife in the white Mercedes, pulled up alongside the vehicle on Neill Ave. and shot the driver, with whom he had an ongoing dispute, in the face...
Mustafaj has been in trouble with the law before. He was arrested with four other suspects in 1995 in an automated-teller machine heist. The FBI at the time linked the five men to a Bronx-based crime group dubbed "the YACS," so named because the group's members hailed from Yugoslavia, Albania, Croatia and Serbia. Authorities believed the group was responsible for stealing $50 million from Long Island to California.
