Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney leads the Republican presidential field in the home of the nations first primary, according to a new poll.

Maybe a westerner.
I can almost understand the people talking about third party presidents in such a scenario. Could Sarah Palin be talked into jumping to the Constitution Party if Mitt looks like he is going to get the nod? Barack is going to be soooooo unpopular by 2012 she might make it.
Please, SEND THE POPULISTS BACK TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WHERE THEY BELONG. We need Reagan and Goldwater, NOT WILLIAM JENNINGS BRYANT or PITCHFORK BEN TILMAN!
No, I do NOT like Mitt Romney, but I don't like being hijacked by "populists" who are nothing but National Socialists who believe in Jesus.
Not too many years ago, New Hampshire was an angry red blotch in a sea of blue. Then Massholes discovered it was a wonderful place to go.
Romney won’t win NH. He’ll read those polls and think he can coast to victory, just like he had a big lead in ‘08. We will trounce him in western New Hampshire.
“Make one selection please for the 2012 General Election...”
Sorry, I’ll stay out if it comes to that. If the climate at that time allows for a sellout phony like Romney to get the nomination, that will mean that the country won’t be committed to the necessary changes in Congress, which means that it won’t matter who gets elected.
Since 2007 Romney has done a good job of hoodwinking some folks into accepting him as a conservative. Nothing could be further from the truth. Romney is closer to Obama's politics than Reagan politics.
Meaghan McCain visited the college campuses in NH to campaign for her daddy. Will she do the same for Romney? Perhaps, she and one of the Romney sons will be a celebrity couple.
The current threat to all of us is the Democratic Party and its allies. I’m not going to attack RINOs while the Democrats are using totalitarian tactics. We have to band together in self-defense.
_None of the above.

Darned internet hiccups...
No Barf Alert? ;-)
Not any way close.
Catholics were long established and widespread though out the US and had solid, coalition bases in countless cites and states.
Not so Mormons. Small, singular, isolated, culturally out of tune( unless you consider the Osmans ‘hip’). I’d put Mormmons in with Seven Day Adventist, Scientology’s.
I’d say they are nationally behind even a Jewish President possibility.
Further, like it or not, Mormonism was made in America by the overt rejection of then American Protestant and Catholics. It’s kind of hard to square that beginning and want to preside over people your religion rejected. Not to mention in Mitt’s case, not one Romney male ever serving to defend this country, in peace or war, ever.( I don’t think Mitt ‘gets’ that particular lack of family value. Even Gore and Kerry made ticket punching efforts at service. IE, they got it. )
Mitt’s way way done. He’s a charecture. I actually feel sorry for the poor guy. He just doesn’t get it. He reminds me, gut wise, of Dukakis.
“Populism is NOT CONSERVATISM! Populism is merely socialism for the rural proletariat.”
Yes. Bill O’Reilly comes to mind.
Well, I did include a hurl alert. LOL.
I see it now. Could I have senile dementia at age 55? Better call a death consultant, ASAP!
