A 9mm pistol holstered clearly to his side, and holding a placard that references spilling the blood of patriots, this gunman is waiting for none other than Barack Obama.
But instead of being wrestled to the ground by police and taken away to prison, William Kostnic is left untouched - because it is legally OK to carry a weapon in New Hampshire so long as it is not concealed. Even American commentators were taken aback at the sight.
'Just to be clear,' a baffled MSBC anchor said to the reporter on the scene.
'You're saying a guy has a gun in the open - where we already know there are concerns about every president's safety, but certainly this president... and the guy's just being allowed to stay there? Is that right?' The reporter replied that the chief of police had told him that 'the law allows this man to be here'.
Kostnic was waiting for the U.S. president before a town hall meeting in the town of Portsmouth, New Hampshire yesterday. He stood in the grounds of a nearby church, which was private property, and police had no objections to his presence, MSNBC reported.

But, the sight of armed police don’t seem to concern them. Bunch of wusses.
cool!
So why worry about this man with a gun but not the other men with guns.
British weenie roast.
Their $65 million diamond heist used guns too..
Good thing they didn’t know about the Geek Seeking robot bullets in the guys gun.
What if someone tried something and a legal carry citizen PREVENTED an assassination attempt? Isn't that just as possible?
Carrying guns openly sure goes a long way to create a much more polite society.
And the prez. is going to enter thru the front door?? Gimmie a break.
Hum...
Guess "The One" is special...
To be honest, given the fevered pitch of the rhetoric against him and the mental health of these so inclined, I think that would apply more to Bush than Obama.
Of course Bush wasn't "the chosen one"
Love the title. Makes it sound like the guy was waiting in ambush. LOL
He got the main part wrong- “watering the tree of liberty with the blood of Tyrants and Patriots....” No need to obviscate the labels....
I’m fairly sure that the MSNBC twit that asked that stupid question would have probably tried to hide the fact of an armed citizen around the president if Bush was still in office.
“Gunman waits outside town hall meeting for Obama-and police say it’s OK.”
The other side of the coin is that subversive liberals are walking around with power and shooting from the hip, not caring what damage their elitist arrogance does.
They go on to project their own dangerous attitudes onto the man who lawfully carries a gun who is posing no threat to anyone. Their main gripe seems to be with the harmless display of the “dangerous” words of Thomas Jefferson.
Maybe they don’t like to tremble because that’s what Mr. Jefferson’s beautiful and profound words do to tyrants.
IMHO
Shouldn’t this headline read “Man exercises both First AND Second Amendment Rights”. God given rights confuse the God-less.

I would be willing to bet a steak dinner that somewhere in the background there was a sniper who constantly had his cross hairs on this dude - waiting for any ever so slight threat movement - then pop, history....
GB police are not armed with anything other than billyclubs.
No guns.
He was probably carrying the gun in case he got approached by Democrat thugs. After all, he was displaying the same “Don’t Tread on Me” flag that got somebody beaten.
The Brits in a proverbial snit over open carry? Not surprising. They’ve blazed the trail to destruction via political correctness. Now, we are along for the ride.
It’s time to take back the country.
If MSNBC is so intellectually dishonest that they won’t report on an innocent person getting beaten by SEIU thugs, why should we take their reporting of this guy seriously?
