Matthews to Obama protester: Why’d you bring a loaded gun to a town hall with the president?

Good question, especially given the sign this guy was carrying. Considering the lengths to which the Secret Service normally goes to investigate threats against the president, I’m amazed he wasn’t hauled in for questioning at the scene as a potential threat. People are going to beat the Second Amendment drum in the comments, but (a) I doubt it would have sat well with our readers if lefties carrying Bushitler signs had shown up to Dubya’s events packing heat and (b) having a right doesn’t mean you’re obliged to exercise it, particularly in circumstances where it would be provocative to do so.

Because, just like they turn everything into a race issue they will turn this into an “angry mobber with a gun and he was planning to shoot the president” issue.
So?

If this guy did something wrong, what is he doing talking to Chrissy the Tingler on Spitball? Why isn’t he in jail? I don’t get it. Probably just a DNC plant used to make conservatives look bad. Regardless, he’s a real nutjob if he thinks Barry is a “great speaker.” Joe Isuzu was a better “speaker” than Barry ever will be. Would I lie to you?

I'd have countered -- "I sought to protect myself from Obama's army of union thugs and goons. ...but in retrospect I should've carried concealed."

And then I would've tossed this at Chrissy -- "And now I have a question for you: What does your wife think about you getting tingles and shivers up your "leg" every time Obama reads off his teleprompter?"

Why do you care so much about what the other side thinks or says? They just lie anyway, they don’t need anything legit to make an issue out of, so why do you let them govern your behavior so much?

I’d rather have reckless liberty than peaceful slavery.

He was perfectly legal, who cares what the libs think. Or, are we going to start caring when everytime they criticize something we do that’s perfectly legal. Maybe we should stop breathing, that’ll make them happy.

What is this ? Freaking DU ? Some of you people make me sick. You love to talk it behind your keyboards but when someone actually walks it you redicule him. What laws did he break ? Who cares what the libtards and the media think, they have been ridiculing the right and the RKBA forever, do you think the men cared about public opinion at Concord ? Plus Chrissy Matthews had a massive fail. Its no wonder the liberals got where they are, this place is half filled with candy asses.

I don’t think this guy is an idiot at all. He did nothing wrong. How is what he did any more dangerous than the likely many more who were carrying concealed? How is what he did any different than the open carry walks that have taken place in many locations around the country in the past couple years? The sheeple may fear an exposed firearm, but free men should not, even if the president is in the same zip code.

Where are you, O.P?

It’s generally considered bad form to throw a stink bomb then split.

He makes all law abiding gun owners look like a bunch of trigger happy gunthugs.
I carry a pistol almost everywhere I go, and I would never think of taking it anywhere there was a politcal rally for this reason: All it takes is a escalation of violence, like a SEIU thug swinging a pick handle at me, and I pull and shoot him. Who is the media going to support? Me, I am just a right winger,NRA gun happy goofball who shot a poor unionman for expressing his views. Never mind the fact he swung a lethal weapon. Anyone ever hear of the Horst Wessel Lied?
Let them bring the first gun. Let that mark be on them.

Are you referring to the man who exercises his 2nd. amendment rights or Chris-tingle?

"He makes all law abiding gun owners look like a bunch of trigger happy gunthugs."

Really? strange there was no discharge of ammo?

Actually he made gun owners looking like the responbile people we know that most are. He carried in public as the 2nd amendment allows and nothing happened.

And Heinlein is proved right once again:

"And armed society is a polite society."

We need more people carrying arms in public not less and being afraid to do so because some libtard might get his panties in a wad is surrendering a right just the same as if they pass a law to stop you.

This brave man did what everyone should do. He reminded the people there that the gov’t works for us. That we have a right to bare arms and will exercise it. It is not ill-advised to carry anywere it is legal.

The 2nd ammendment is more important than voting or any other rights expressed or implied.

Blacks can vote now, but do you think they shouldn’t so as to not offend people who don’t like it? It’s the exact same thing.

No he didn’t. He held his own. Well spoken and informed. There was nothing wrong with what he did. He shoould be looked at as an inspiration instead of an “idiot.” Mr. Krostic did what we all should be doing. He exercised his right. If we lose the right to keep and bare arms it won’t be because of men like him... it’ll be because of people like you and me who don’t have the balls to do it ourselves.

That we have a right to bare arms and will exercise it.

In addition to the right to have a farmer's tan, more importantly we have the right to bear arms. :-)

Why did Matthews bring a microphone and camera to the 0bamaissiah press conference?

He does not make gun owners look like a bunch of trigger happy gunthugs. This guy is the closest thing I’ve seen to a “Poster Boy” for open carry/gun rights. Did you watch the vid?

It is perfectly legal to carry a firearm openly in New Hampshire, as I have done on many occasions. Having said that, I don’t know that I would have made the same choice in this instance. A canister of pepper spray is an effective weapon against any potential thugs and/or goons and might have been a wiser choice.

Why? He broke no laws and threatened no one. Not even the Secret Service could touch him. Let the left go apesh#t over an object. We will continue to focus on letting the Rats know what we think of Obamacare.

Your post does make you sound like a bit of a nut.

Leave your gun at home. You don’t sound prepared.
